Honey blossom bears

in honey blossom wood, there lived a family of honey bears, in the hollow of a large oak tree. There was mummy bear, who was light caramel in colour and had fluffy ears, on which a daisy was always resting. There was also daddy bear, who was big and strong, with large paws perfect for padding along forest terrain and had smooth dark brown fur and trusting eyes. Also in this honey sweet family, were Pancake, Daisy and brownie bear, in order of biggest to smallest. Pancake was like her dad, tall and dark smooth fur, whereas Daisy was more like her mother, with honey coloured fur and beautiful flowers always resting on her fuzzy ears. Brownie was only 2 years old, and was fuzzy and dark brown with large paws much too big for his small body.

One morning, when the bears were eating a lovely crunchy bowl filled with oats and honey from the bumble bees just a short walk away,when daddy bear grunted thoughtfully in his gruff voice; “today cubs, We are going to go to fish in the bluebell pond” Pancake and daisy were incredibly excited: “I love to go fishing!“cried pancake gleefully. And daisy shouted “YES IM FINALLY LEARNING HOW TO FISH“ very loudly . The two cubs danced merrily around the fire, as their dad fetched a basket and cooking pot from the kitchen cupboard. “Lets go now daisy and pancake, whilst your mother prepares the vegetables and spices for the cod we are going to catch, and he padded confidently out of the wooden door and toward the bluebell fields Beyond. Pancake and daisy Trottes along behind their dad, talking excitedly about who was going to catch the biggest fish and tastiest cod, which was going to be coated in breadcrumbs and cooked over the fire in the middle of the living room. Now the honey blossom family are no ordinary bears, the are magical bears. You may have already noticed, but unlike your ordinary bears, which you can find in a zoo, this particular bear family can talk! And above all others, each one of the bears have their own special magical ability. Their father has a magical roar, which can destroy things, or even hypnotise them! Daisy can climb trees, which is an unusual talent for a bear, and pancake has super strong claws which are as strong as metal, and allows her to dig at lightning speed. Their brother, brownie has a strength just like his sister, but other than super claws, he has super jaws. Their mother can make flowers and plants grow, which is a very useful talent, as she can grow all the herbs she needs for her baking whenever she likes! When pancake , daisy and their dad got to the pond, daisy’s fishing lesson began; to lie low in the water, and then, when the perfect, unsuspecting fish came along, to grab it with your teeth, or claws. But their dad had a trick truly unique to him. Using his roar, he cleared paths of water for his children to walk down, and pick up the fish that were swimming where the water had been. After a day filled with fun, soon their dad called “ DAISYYYYY PANCAKEEEE TIME TO GO HOME” the two sisters were very disappointed it was time to go home, but they didn’t protest as their dad helped them out of the water; They were both exhausted! When they reached their cosy little oak tree, their mother and brownie were waiting at the door, and their mother roared with delight about how much delicious fish they had caught. Daisy and pancake were very pleased with themselves, and after a filling meal they went to bed and almost immediately, they fell into a deep, restful sleep.
