PESTILENCE

Man is an Elephant when on his feet

And nothing when death comes

He becomes a wood

The attendant detect his strength

By hitting the tummy

And finally, to grave it goes

Feeding the nation.

He who 'xclaim-

"Do you know me? "

Has neither known himself

If he did

Then he would know

That dust has no power

When breeze visit.

At the hit of Covid-19

Every soul was heat

And men who thought they were something

Knew they were nothing

And he who had money greatly feared death

He forgot his cars, billions and buildings in Italy

He found shade in Lekki

My granny is his doctor,

He drank herbal mixture from our pot.

I even saw him in health center

He doesn't know that what he seek is in Italy.

Like a snake will say-

"Fear human! "

Take not the rat away from the silo

Less it return to it when freed

Rather, take the silo away from the rat

And it will never know where it's planted.

Such as this was I kept.
