Good concept with poor execution

"It hooks you on from the 2nd chapter itself but as one proceeds, the childlike narration begins to nag you. The concept, is really good but somewhere in the middle the author starts losing a grip on the narrative and ends up adding more 2 styles of storytelling. This one had true potential with the pace it began, but by the end, it becomes quite slow and predictable. A grown-up adult Man, writing like a teenager is what I couldn't digest the most. There are many loose ends that the author hasn't even bothered broaching or acknowledging. But as I previously stated, a very good and interesting concept, which remains just that, superficial."
