Prologue: February 2017
“Thunderstorming again, huh?
” The rain in Lightville didn’t seem to pick up today. It had been pouring nonstop since 4 AM. The current time is 11 PM, and a young man with blonde hair was going through the streets with an umbrella. His name, unknown to most. But some already knew this man. He was a strange one, often seen alone, and he always stayed distanced from others. Someone even saw him with a hole in his arm once.
This man was strange for more reasons than one. For starters, he was a human. Almost all of the residents of Lightville were anthropomorphic. But this man, who suddenly appeared one day, is of mankind. He always kept strange habits, too. He liked to clean his shoes often. He always dressed nice. He kept to himself all the time, even in such a small town like this. Even in his nice suit, he was seen walking through the rain, too.
The man knocked on a female resident’s door. Her name was Ari, short for Aridany. She is a beautiful breed of Shiba dog, and she is loved by all. So kind to everyone. She also lives alone. And the man in the rain knew this. He knew she would let him in. She opened the door, and asked the man, “What are you here for at this hour?”. The man forced himself in, and shut the door behind himself. What happened there remains a mystery because there were no witnesses. After all the rain, people noticed that Ari had been missing. Where did Ari go? And what did this man have to do with this disappearance?
