"Let me start out by congratulating the author. The subject matter of this story is a difficult thing to write about. Human trafficking- particularly child trafficking- is unfortunately and horrifically all too real and way too many people have to live with the scars. This author wrote an amazing story about what comes after freedom. They skillfully and with respect and compassion tell the tale of Stacy. No last name that she can remember, found moments from death beaten and raped at the side of the road. That was just the beginning of her story. How will she move on? Can she find happiness or even a night free from the nightmares? Read as she learns how to be free. Beautifully written and very much appreciated trigger and mature content warnings for those sensitive to it."
