I would definitely recommend it.

I would definitely recommend it. My only issue is the cover. I almost did not open the book because it does not convey the quality of the story inside."
When the author says slow burn
"They mean it!but like, not in a bad way! In the holy shit this was worth it! Way. It was so good I literally read it in one sitting, it was a five hour sitting but still a singular one. And as much as I Hate Hadrian he's too adorable not to end up falling for so we cant really blame Bruno for his decisions now can we!"
Amazing story
"This was probably the best story I read on this app so far. Amazing dialogue, characterization, and a masterpiece of a plotline. Some things I also enjoyed were the more permanent aspects of the injuries that took place throughout; the sword scar on Bruno's face, the flogging marks, Hadrian's rolled ankle, etc. The characters were realistic, with morals and wants and the dialogue was genuinely amazing! If you wrote a sequel, I would read it in a heartbeat, but the story is brilliant as is"

The twists in this story floored me more than a few times. The plot is masterfully crafted, and the pacing is excellent. The only negative I could mention is the lack of proof-reading in some areas, and therefore minor errors here and there. Be prepared to read this novel in one go, because the cliff-hangers will grab you - gown or tunic and all."

"I love the why it's written it's just so nice and beautiful I loved and still do love it and if you want to try writing a bl/gay/bXb love story I would highly recommend you read this it is just so good and I would love to see more books like this and if you'd let me rate it from 1-100 It'd be 100% brilliant and their is a slight mistake with the chapter Bruno you/they forgot to put a capital letter in ONE of the places where one should of gone but except from that is is perfect!"
