Our Scars

I accidentally shifted to this DR last year, but decided to make a small script and stay so I could figure out why I ended up there. Keep in mind when I first shifted here I did not know who I was there for, so it's a bit of a slow burn to get to when Harry and I get together but trust me its a good and interesting slow burn. You get to watch me very slowly realize that Harry and I have feelings for each other

I obviously can't include every single last thing that happened, but I'm gonna try my best to include almost everything cute, spicey, and important that happened. I wrote down everything that I could remember every time I came back from shifting so this is straight from my memories

I'm not going to be using my first name in the book. In this book I'll be using (Y/N) Athena Moody, which is my full name in this DR except obviously I use my real first name instead of (Y/N). However, people always call me Athena, so it's basically going to be an AthenaxHarry story unless people called me by my real name

That being said please DO NOT take anything from this book and make it into your own story. These are my personal memories. People are already stealing stories from my One Shots book and claiming them as their own, I do not need people doing that with my own memories as well

So again, please do not steal anything from this book and do not repost it anywhere. Promoting or telling people about this book is fine, but seriously please don't steal my stuff. I worked hard on writing this all up for you guys to enjoy. Thank you!

Some Important Backstory

DR= Desired Reality
CR= Current Reality

My DR is Modern, however everything is the same as it was in the books and movies aside from the fact that everyone has a phone for Snapchat and the cars are modern. Everyone sometimes dresses kind of modern as well. Everyone also knows Gen-Z humor and American politics. There is no COVID-19

I started shifting to Hogwarts when I was starting 4th year but when I came back from shifting to this DR for the first time I scripted that I'd remember everything that happened before I started shifting

I'm in Slytherin and I'm a female

Just like in my Theo DR and my Fred & Oliver DR, I scripted that everyone is above the age of 18, however for the purpose of the story I'll be writing it as if everyone is 1 year older than they're supposed to be (so Harry in this story is 15 in 4th year, 16 in 5th year, so on and so forth but in my DR everyone is an adult)

Harry, Draco, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Fred, George, Pansy, Adrian, Cedric, Dean, Seamus, Blaise, Lucian, Graham, Mattheo, Cassius, Theo, Luna, and I are all in the same class year, HOWEVER; Fred, George, Adrian, Cedric, Mattheo, Lucian, Graham, Cassius, Theo, and I are all 1 year older than the others. So I'm 16 going on 17 when I enter my DR in 4th year, as are the Twins, Mattheo, Cedric, Cassius, Theo, Adrian, Lucian, and Graham

While they were technically younger, the Twins and Cedric looked how they did in the 4th movie in 4th year. Then the Twins aged how they did in the movies just in different class years

Cedric aged like Robert Pattinson did through the years but his hair stayed the same

Adrian and Lucian also looked the same as they did in the 3rd movie for the whole time I was there and Cassius looked like how he did in Order of the Pheonix the whole time I was there

I made the cut off for the Triwizard Tournament 15 so Cedric could still compete and enter

Remus is the DADA teacher the entire time I'm at Hogwarts. When "Madeye", AKA Barty Crouch Jr, comes in he is just there to assist Remus in DADA. When Umbitch comes in he's temporarily moved to a different teaching position and when Snape takes over they teach it together

Alastor Madeye Moody is my adoptive dad in this DR. I was adopted by Madeye because my father was killed when I was a child and Madeye was apparently close with my father, he was the one that found my father and I after Voldemort attacked us

I lived in Boston, Massachusetts by America from when I was born until we moved to England a couple month before I started at Hogwarts, my father died within those couple months in England. Apparently my father and I visited England a lot where my dad would leave me with Madeye, Remus, or the Weasleys and go take care of business, so I was very close with the Weasleys before I even moved to England. My mother died a year before we moved to England

Before my father died Voldemort tried to kill me as a child, but just like Harry it failed and turned me into another horcrux. So I have a lightning bolt scar on my right collarbone just like in my other DR. If Voldemort touches Harry or I it burns like fucking hell, but if one of us touches where Voldemort touched on the other it immediately calms the burning

Harry and I still have telepathy in this DR. We can sense where the other is, how the other is feeling, and we feel eachother's pain. We can also tell when the other is lying and hear a conversation the other is having with someone. It's very strange but it makes our relationship easier lmao

Harry and I also both speak fluent parseltongue and often communicate through it. It pisses everyone off, which is why we do it

Sirius adopted Harry as soon as he got out of Azkaban in 3rd year and has a room for Harry at Grimmauld Place. Sirius and Remus behave like parental figures to me in this DR even though they're not, so they have a room for me at Grimmauld Place as well. Molly had Arthur add a room to the Burrow for me when I was a child apparently, so I have my own room there that Harry and I share over the summers when we visit

I never go to Madeye's house. I'm almost 100% certain he doesn't have a house lmao

Sirius, Remus, and Madeye gave me my middle name when I was born, so they all call me Athena. Basically everyone calls me Athena because calling me by my first name apparently reminds them too much of my father. Madeye and Remus get genuinely angry when people call me by my first name

I'm American in this DR as well, with the same Boston accent that I have in my CR

Physically I'm a very small person. I'm about 5 feet tall and don't weigh that much in my DR, so all the boys think it's funny to pick me up and throw me over their shoulders or rest their elbows on my head. All the boys tend to pick me up when we're hugging. Adrian and the Twins all have a habit of picking me up and spinning around until we're dizzy as fuck

Harry is about 5'7"-5'8" in my DR

I have a lot of physical trauma in my CR and I'm kind of afraid of seeing what life would be like if I didn't have my scars and medical issues, so I didn't script them out. My CR trauma came with me to my DR including my mental illnesses, scars from the accidents & abuse I went through, and the fact that I don't have feeling in my right foot. I have full mobility of my foot, I just can't feel anything

In this DR I for some reason basically have Wanda Maximoff's powers without the red lights that come from her hands. I pretty much always use nonverbal and wandless magic. I also can read minds at will thanks to my powers

I made sure to script that I'm really good in all my classes and remember all the spells and potions. Make sure you guys do that if you shift! Or else you will fail your classes!

I scripted that everyone has their own private dorms and whoever you want can come in your dorm and stay over night if they want. I also made it so people can sit at other house's tables at meals and we don't have to wear our uniforms in class if we don't want to. The only thing we have to have from the uniform is our robes

I scripted so 1 hour in my CR = 1 week in my DR. I also scripted that time stops in my DR when I'm not there

I use the pillow method combined with subliminals and meditation but remember you don't necessarily need a method to shift! Shifting is all about what works for YOU. I've accidentally shifted without doing my shifting routine before, so you 100% don't NEED a method. Subliminal and affirmations aren't necessary, but again, it's all about what works for you personally!

If you don't believe in shifting then that's fine, but do not attack those that do and say they shift. This will be a safe space and hate towards anyone will not be tolerated
