"I think the author summed it up. Your average man on cube shaped planet, alone with amnesia, being hunted by the huntee, watched by people who obviously put him there but for some reason want nothing to do with him. Seriously this is the weirdest but most compelling book I've read in a long time. It may have been said already but when the book ends you think 'of course!' but never see it coming and again I need the sequel. Why is he there? Who's watching? Why have there been other before him? Why did they fail? If the above makes no sense, it will when you read it! And as the others I read it a few months ago and have been wondering ever since!!!! Get on with the next one Mr MacPherson."

"My daughter loves this and even though I think the writing lacks a bit in structure she wont have a word against it. We read it together and although it didn't sound like my kind of thing I possible enjoyed it just as much. I know it's already been said but honestly the ending was as obvious as it was a surprise as it was frustratingly making me think all day when is the next book coming out. Oh, my daughter also liked it. Like I said not my review, hers (sort of)."

"If J K Rowling and Douglas Adams has an illegitimate child this would be it. Devoid of contact Rex half-arses through life without a care in the world, his only friend loneliness. A best friend who know more than he's letting on, a task set by persons unknown who constantly monitor but never offer any personal contact and a twist that's told to you in the first couple of chapters but still a as surprising as a pregnancy scare, this book had me gripped until the end. Where's the sequel already????!!!!! The cliff hanger is unbearable!!! Writing is passable, quite clearly a first novel and at times you wonder if the author's trial of thought goes, but far too an enjoyable a book to put down for one second. Read it now!!!"
