The beginning
Sam was waiting for the school day to end she wanted to get out of here and go out the the dinner where her friends were waiting for her to go and leave for Florida . Its the last day of school and she was taking a vacation with Emily and her family for two months.
Sam was going through a hard time and the trip to Florida was just what she needed. A week previously her boyfriend had just broken up with her after a year and a half of dating he had become only a friend and Sam didn’t know how to respond to that Emily like a best friend should was there for her and Sams parents were extremely understanding.
¨No!¨ Her mother said, Sam didn’t understand ¨Please mom i will be on my best behavior!¨ Sam pleaded this was a few days before the break-up. Her mother just didn’t understand what she was going through at school rumors were going around that Sams boyfriend Charlie was going to break up with her the rumors started to get in her head and she started to doubt herself. So she started to become upset and when Charlie asked what was wrong she just changed the subject or rejected her feelings. RRRIINNGGG said the loud school bell signaling the end of school surprised by the bell Sam grabbed her things and went to her locker put up her books and grabbed her suitcase ready to leave all this behind her.
¨Oh Sammy we are going to miss you so much your father and I have been so worried about letting you on this trip but we trust you as long as you call us as soon as you get to the airport and into OK.¨ ¨ Ok mom I will miss you to bye Rico bye Lizzy!¨ she waved to the twins. Suddenly she got a text Hey i am gonna miss you a lot have fun in Florida - Charlie She rolled her eyes what did he mean he was going to miss her? A loud noise startled her Emily’s dad honked the horn on there car ¨ Are you ready for two months in Florida bestie?¨ Sam could see the excitement in her eyes ¨ You bet!¨ Sam said putting the thought of Charlie out of her mind.
Sam looked out the window it was going to take almost an hour to get to the airport ¨hmmm¨ she felt her phone buzz Em Why do you think he sent that text? Sam I don´t know Em Meabey he wants to get back with you Sam I don´t think so why are we texting any way? Em Do you want my parents to know your having boy problems?Em Do you want my parents to know your having boy problems? They quickly put down their phones because they saw Emily’s mom looking at them through the mirror ¨You teenagers always on your phone!¨ ¨Mom all girls do is text boys on there.¨ Mark Emily’s brother said ¨ We are not texting boys!¨ Emily said Mark was Emily’s older brother but Sam knew he was joking, when Sam was younger she used to have a crush on him but when she got in high school.
The sky was beginning to get dark so they went to Fortune Cookie a Chinese restaurant then they went to a gas station to pick up snacks for the flights. As the night went on they started to get tired Sam thinking about Charlie drifted off into sleep.
