Dancing in the Rain
“It's supposed to rain tonight..” Zara said, checking her weather app
“I know, But the parks just up the road, we can come back if it gets to bad” Elle said, eagerly
“Fair enough” Zara said, throwing on her hoodie so she doesn't get wet.
“Yayyy” Elle said happily.
Zara finishes getting her hoodie on, and Ella comes up behind her, giving her a hug, and a kissing her shoulder. Zara gives a cute little smile, turns, and wraps her hands around Elle, giving her a big hug. Ella loves both the night sky, and the rain so she's excited to go vibe at the park. She takes Zara's hand and heads outside. It's a hot and humid summer night and even though it is about to rain, the moon and stars shine brightly without a cloud in sight. The two chat and laugh while they walk to the park. When they arrive at the park they race to the swings like little kids, Zara gets there first, taking the highest swing, Elle not far behind takes the swing next to her. They swing as high as they can, feeling like they can reach the stars. With no warning, it starts to pour.
“I wanna do something before we leave” Ella says as she jumps out of her swing.
She approaches Zara, stopping her swing, taking her hand and pulling her into the grassy area of the park.
“Where are we going?” Zara askes.
“Just over here” Elle replies with a smile.
Elle faces Zara, putting her hands around Zara's waist. Wrapping her arms around Elles neck, Zara leans her forehead against Elles, making their nose touch. They giggle and
start swaying side to side. Zara strokes Elles cheek and gives her a kiss. Elle smiles, pulling away slightly, looking into Zara's beautiful eyes that she always finds herself lost in, and lightly brushes her hair out of her face.
“I love you” Zara says with a smile.
“I love you, and guess what” Elle replies.
Zara a little confused “what”
Elle smiles and says “ I can finally say i’ve danced in the rain, with the most beautiful girl in the world”
