New beginning
" I just dont think she is ready to go to a actual school yet" I heard my Aunt say in a worried tone. My eyes are closed with earbuds in but nothing is playing. My uncle John groaned, "we had this talk before Susanne she is fine she needs a high school experience before she graduates and its better to start now then never." I understand my aunt concern after everything that happened in my life. "She doesn't even talk after the incident its like she isn't...i dont know! I am just worried." The incident shes talking about is when i saw my dad kill my mom. I was 15 and out with friends after my softball game, It was past my curfew and I knew my parents were waiting for me well that is what i thought. I walked inside to my parents arguing. My dad was drunk like always and my mom had enough of it and finally snapped. He pulled out his gun from his police belt and pointed at my mom. She made eye contact with me and told me to run but I couldn't. I froze up and watched as my dad pulled the trigger. She instantly fell to the ground lifeless. The last thing my dad said before getting arrested was "she deserved it." After that night I lost my voice I craved silence more then anything. Its been two years since then and I still cant find a way to say goodbye yet. "we are here" my aunt said snapping me out of my thoughts.
