What is your opinion?

Ooh!

"My heart started to pound reading this! Powerful use of descriptive language throughout. It seems like the character is in a loop? Or was this the final fight against the Nothing? It reminds me a bit of The Neverending Story."

Creepy

"This was a very nicely written and very nicely creepy story. It was a subtle kind of creepy that gives you goosebumps and makes you keep one eye open and makes you think about your sanity. A short quick read and leaves you with questions and a slightly unsettled feeling."

lovely writing

"The author drew me in with beautiful words that lent themselves to smooth descriptions and then eased me into the panic of the character that built and built as I learned about her childhood nightmare that she couldn't escape even into adulthood. The cyclical format for this short story made it perfection.. Excellence."

Beautifully horrific

"The prose is just, beautiful. Lovely. The combination of great writing, and an eerie tale, make this short story the kind that will have you scrolling back to the beginning so that you can read it again."

Chilling!

"Wow, such a great concept and how artistically it was showed off. The ending really gave me chills, especially at the last line, as it connected itself to the earlier expressed paranioa. I think you nailed it down how an alone getting older woman can live in paranoia, and may i say fear of death, as it will be "nothingness", and there will be none will remember you again as you become a part of nothingness. The symbolism was very cunning, I believe, too. As the death can't catch me unawares because I always sleep facing at the door...? The writing was very crafty, I especially enjoyed the curt descpritions, well-expressed the curtness of the concept, but my favorite for a reason was how you described the sunlight "friendly" after the oppresive whiteness, because I could easily imagine it in that way, and feel its warmth as well. Brilliant piece! Thanks for sharing."

So Suspenseful!

"Hi there! I really enjoyed reading this piece. I think you did a fantastic job setting the mood of the story by starting off with the dream and how there's only whiteness and noise. The narration was on point and the flow of the story was fabulous (not too slow or too fast). The details towards the end were great. I really liked the part where you described how exactly this paranoia came to be for the main character and how it's affected his/her life ever since. The ending sent shivers down my spine! I wasn't expecting the noise and whiteness to become part of his/her reality. To become part of nothing is so tragic! The only thing I found wrong with this is that you seem to have a few run-on sentences here and there and too many descriptions jammed into a single sentence. I'm hoping I make sense. Anyways, this story was very neat and I'm glad I stumbled upon it while looking for horrors to read. Nice job!"
