Chapter 1

Sapphire ran across the street to the school, her long straight Brown hair flapping in the wind, her blue eyes, sparkle like sapphires in the rising sun. She stepped inside the school and went into her first class of the day; Math class. She went to the back of the room qand sat in a seat, trying not to get noticed because today was her first day. "You're new." Says a red spikey haired boy with hazel eyes, that wears glasses, making everybody look back at her. "Ahem.." says a teacher, a blond hair and brown eyes, mid 30's woman, named, Mrs Lily. The class sent their focus back to the teacher. Sapphire was coming in as a new student in the middle of the school year. "I didn't know I was getting another student. What's your name?" Mrs Lily asked. "Sapphire." She said in almost a whisper.

This was just as bad as the last

Sapphire thought,

the bullies all know I'm here, and like last time, I probably won't make any friends, just a whole lot of enimes.

She was tempted to just get up and walk away at that vary second but, she knew she couldn't. Mrs Lily turned around and wrote something on the chalk board, she wrote: algebra. For that is what they would be learning about today. Sapphire hated algebra but, sighed of relief anyways because she was just glad that they stoped paying attention to her.

Emerald, with a huge grin on her face, hopped off the school bus, the light hit her face making her green eyes sparkle like emeralds, and her long straight Brown hair shine. She was talking to her friends: Willy, Violet, and Rosey. Violet sighed and blew some of her black curly long hair out of her face before saying: "Yall are lucky, I have a huge test today in geometry." "I'm so good at geometry, I could maybe help you." Emerald said, her friends knew that she aces every test that's thrown at her. She's the student who always gets A's. "Nah, that would be cheatin' and I don't wanna get in trouble like last time." Violet said with her country accent standing out. "I think you'll do just fine." Said Rosey. "I wouldn't be so sure. Last time she failed miserably." Willy said. They walked up the school steps they parted all going to diffrent classes.
