The Various Emotions of Divorce

"The theme was nicely portrayed in these poems. Honestly, the author captured the various emotions of someone going through heartbreak, love, and divorce. The poems were more on a free style instead of following a structure in my opinion. And at one point, I felt like I was reading one long poem. However, I can help feeling like a bit of poetry structure would enhance the effect of the overall theme. Anyway, the poems did pull me in. I did feel the different emotions as I was reading through them. And they did have a strong effect almost as if I was the person going through the downs of a long term marriage. Nice job. "
