Chapter one; the long way
“I’m all for finding the food, but it’s so boring and I don’t get why ALL males do it you’re lucky Star you know that?” Said Cooper to Star as he was walking out of the den to go hunting alone since Star had her weekly request to hunt “Coop, you know you’re the lucky one you don’t have to request to go hunting, and on weekends you don’t have to, I was thinking this weekend maybe we could go to the meadow? I heard that there were some tulips sprouting!” Said Star as she urged Cooper to come “alright Star you’re lucky that I lik- I mean that I am friends with you..” said Cooper as he sheepishly laughed uncomfortably. “Oh Coop, you’re so silly you are and I’m delighted that you’ll come and I need to have something for my den to look nice in. Ok I’ll just go request access from ‘the prince of annoying-ness’ if I can.” The two laughed as Star went to go see Prince then as she want in the den she knocked on the wall with her tail “hey Prince you here?” Then the prince came out and said “yes of course I am my princess, what may I do for you love?” Then Star rolled her eyes “I would like to request access to the meadow Prince, sir.” Prince chuckled a bit “ why you don’t need to call me prince, sir for I am your humble friend and maybe even more, and yes but I must ask, if you’re bringing a male, perhaps what was it, uh pooper?” Said prince smirking after the last bit “his names Cooper and yes he’s coming with me and that is fine right sir?” The prince stared at Star “why no any male who ever touch you delicate flower I will kill for I am your only mate like it or not, because your parents agree I’m a better fit for you than pooper.” Said the prince as he put his paw underneath Star’s chin “listen I love who I want to and you can’t force me to marry you like some one did some weird spell and make you suddenly in love with me ok?” Then Star left the cave and the prince said before she left “I’m coming to supervise the two of you, one kiss and Cooper will never see you again.” Star gasped and smacked Prince’s face “that’s the reason I wouldn’t marry you, selfish dog.” Then she left the cave and sat next to Cooper “he said yes but he’s coming along,” then Star mumbled under her breath just so the two could hear her “he’s coming and if he sees you kissing me he said he’d kill you, so play as ‘normal’ as you can got it?” Cooper nodded his head and prince came out of the cave and the three went to the meadow as prince picked a bouquet of flowers and then Cooper found a pink tulip and put it in Stars fur and smiled at her and wagged his tail happily. “Coop, I’m gonna hit the hay see you tomorrow.” Said Star yawning.
