Chapter one
Today was like all my regular days. I just came from the shooting range with my best friend Adrian. We've been friends since forever and was always there for eachother.
When we entered the living room I found Alexa sitting in the sofa watching Blindspot. I told her not to ever watch it without me but there she was; being disobedient. I was furious.
"ALEXA, you're watching Blindspot without me?! What the hell!!" I shouted.
"Ayana!" she jumped, "Oh crap! I thought you and Adrian was going to by lunch before you came. You know we have to buy groceries" she grabbed the remote and paused the show.
"Alexa are you kidding me. I told you-"
"I know but I couldn't help it. There was nothing good on Netflix to watch so I just continued watching from where we left off yesturday night," she confessed.
I ran a hand over my face but I wasnt stressed out.
"Its ok Alexa. Sorry I yelled at you. I'll just watch it on my desktop," and then I walked away before she could say anything more. Adrian followed me to my room but I didn't tell him to leave me alone at the moment.
"You ok Ayana?"
"Yeah Adrian, I'm fine."
"Well you sure as hell dont look fine. You really stressing over a show?"
I turned my head towards him as soon as those words left his mouth. I could tell he wished the world would swallow him whole at this moment.
"Get out!" I told him seriously but not too angry. I was trying to keep my cool.
"No, Ayana I'm sorry I didnt mean to-"
"GET OUT! Get the hell out of my room!"
He said nothing more and left my room, closing the door behind him as he left.
I went over to my desktop and sat in my comfy leather chair. I put on the episode of Blindspot that we was suppose to watch when I came home and sat there for hours.
After the third episode of Blindspot ended I went outside to see if there was anything to munch on. To my suprise Adrian was still here. He was sitting in the sofa with Alexa watching Snakes on the plane. He turned to me and watched me with concerned eyes.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm fine and I'm sorry for yelling at you."
"Nah, it's ok. I'm sorry for not seeing how much this meant to you."
"I wasn't mad of that Adrian. It's just that I was really excited about this episode and I come home to see my sister watching it without me even though I told her not to. Forget it ok."
"Ok!"
My sister watched me sadly and I knew she was sorry. I mouthed her saying 'It's ok' and she mouthed me back saying 'Sorry'.
I went to the kitchen and looked for something to eat but there was nothing.
"ALEXA, CAN YOU BUY SOME GROCERIES FOR THE HOUSE TOMMOROW PLEASE?"
"YEAH NO PROBLEM."
I headed back to the living room and sat on the sofa with Alexa and Adrian and watched the movie with them.
