The Sin of Greed
Nagala: Throughout my life, I have ever felt only two things fear and pain. I hate my people, all of
them disown me because of my frail weakness... even my own family has become disgusted by
my existence. The only comfort I have in this world is my mother for she loves me no matter who
or what I am, but my father hates me says that I am a disgrace to my bloodline. I always hide in the
slums away from him eating rats, food in the house was very scarce and most of it would go to
him. But now I must return home I can’t keep my mother worrying about me.
Narrator: The hybrid kingdom was in poverty, Jalangi the wise died early in his rule to an
unknown disease, Komunga seized control of the throne his greed and gluttony doomed his
people, ever since Oliver and Olivia vanishing from the kingdom their children have become
darker giving in to their desires for violence, war, greed, and pride. They even deem themselves
better than all other hybrids in the kingdom leaving only the best food the greatest women and
most comfortable living spaces to them even the guards did not care for the lower class they are
just as arrogant and power-hungry as their ruler. Now a familiar hybrid approaches the golden
throne of Komunga.
Cyn’glad: Brother! Look at our kingdom everyone is starving! Famine is everywhere, disease
spreads like wildfire and you do nothing but sit on your throne and laugh at our suffering!
Komunga: What happens to the weak is not important to me brother they are nothing more than
waste of skin.
Cyn’glad: Waste of skin?! Those people are your responsibility mother and father wanted us to
prosper and grow! Thanks to you we lost almost all of the land we had captured we have
nowhere to go except across the ocean if you’re not going to take care of your people at least get
us out of here!
Komunga: “Eating a chicken leg” I think not brother these people are not my responsibility and
the rest of your brothers agree. You know since we’re brothers I will give you an offer, I will allow
you into our paradise if you get rid of the weakness you carry.
Cyn’glad: What weakness are you talking about?!
Komunga: Your son and wife are pathetic I want you to kill them we have already taken your
other child from you because he was strong but this one you have is weak and frail and your
wife is no fighter she is pathetic but you can get rid of them and join us.
Cyn’glad: No! I-I can’t bring myself to kill them please let me just abandon them!
Komunga: Nope I gave you a simple choice and you made your choice. Guards! Get him out of
my sight toss him back into the slums.
Cyn’glad: No you can’t do this we’re family!
Narrator: Two honor guards grab Cyn’glad by the wrist and begin dragging him down the stairs
Cyn’glad: You can’t do this! Komunga you bastard!
Narrator: The honor guards throw Cyn’glad face-first into a pile of fecal matter and walk back to
the throne. Cyn’glad slowly stands up his face covered in the fecal matter he wipes some of it
from his eyelids to open his eyes revealing a look of hatred.
Cyn’glad: Damn my son and damn my wife all they do is hold me back and here I am having to
take care of both of them if it wasn’t for those two I would be living in paradise right now
“starts to walk home” I hate you both you made my chance of living with my brothers in paradise
gone and all I have left is nothing.
