Moving Out
There once was a girl whose name was Lilly. She was almost 11 years old and she loved nature. Her parents got divorced when she was five so now her and her mom are moving out of her old home where there were holes in the walls, spiderwebs, and dust everywhere because her father couldn’t afford
to pay to keep his house clean. So they moved far far away up high in the snowy mountains of Colorado. And while she was packing up to move, she started to feel a tingle in her foot. It started at her toes then started to creep up her foot and she started to freak out. Then after she started walking towards her mom to tell her, the aching stopped. Then she heard a voice whisper to her ear ”don’t do it” the voice said. Lilly didn’t listen, and she continued to walk towards her mom. She told her mom what happened and her mom just said it was just a dream. But Lilly knew it wasn’t, it was definitely real. So when she went to bed her mom kissed her on the forehead and said good night. In the middle of the night she woke up, and this time her ankle started to bleed all over her sheets. And she heard the voice again “look under your bed” the voice said. But Lilly was hesitant and she did not listen to the voice again. So the next morning she woke up and when she stood on the floor, the floor broke and every step she took the house with creek and crack. Then she went to her mom all the creaking and cracks stopped. When she went back to her room the hole in the floor was gone. Lilly was almost dead in fear. But she kept believing it was just a dream like her mom said. So she moved on with her day and when they were putting their bags in the car, her mom had a stroke. And the voice said “now who are you going to go to?” Lilly did not answer this voice, and so a huge punishment came. The clouds started to swirl but Lilly did not let that intimidate her and she yelled “please let my mom live again. Please I beg of you.”
