So today was the day and I didn't even know it. Today something awful was going to happen to me and I didn't even realize it. It was the day I was gonna lose my sister. The day was September 18, 2016. I still remember it like it was yesterday. It started off like usual. I went outside with my dog and waited for her to come home from church. Then all of a sudden my mom runs outside and tells me to get dressed that I'm going to my aunt's house. I didn't know why and she wouldn't tell me. I get there and she says she will be back she has to go to the hospital something bad had happened and she would be back. When she came back I asked her what was wrong and she said that I needed to sit down for this news. That's when she told me that Kera was in an accident and was pronounced dead on the scene. I broke down in tears. I couldn't believe what I just heard. My little sister wasn't going to be in my life anymore and I couldn't stand it. At that time I went home grabbed a blade and started cutting my thighs. I wanted to die just so I could be with her. She was my sun and I didn't know what I was going to do without her. That was the day I knew what self-harm actually was and what it felt like. I realized that I could never actually have her back but it made me feel better. The next week was the funeral and honestly, I didn't expect anyone in my class to come but I wanted one person to come and they did. A boy named Ty'son. He came and gave me a rose with a note, the note said the cutest thing ever. After that day I had a very hard time at school because everyone was talking about it. Until one day something unexpected happened......
