"Exactly like the first one. Great story telling, characters and the attention to detail throughout is perfect. This is one of the best books I've read This year (2026) an absolute gem of a story. I'm sad it ended on a cliffhanger but I look forward to book 3. I'll definitely be reading this series again. It reminded me of the fated Mate's series by the same author but with so many new twists and turns I enjoyed this so much "
