What is gratitude and why is it important?
Gratitude, by any other name, means to be thankful. It is taking a moment to stop, to take notice of what we have, and to feel fortunate for it.

helps reduce chronic pain •promotes the release of dopamine and serotonin in your brain
encourages neurons in your brain to grow new connections (neuroplasticity)
results in more positive feelings and thoughts
can help reduce depression
During the next 100 days, you will have three questions that will allow you to explore and reflect on those things for which you are thankful, for your victories, and for what makes you smile. Give yourself time to notice the little moments as well as the big moments. Acknowledging these moments and the many more wins you have each day can encourage positive emotions, confidence, and self-worth.
