Family Matters
We all have a family that loves us and is there for us through everything. Some may know of their family but not ever see them. Others don’t even know who their parents are. Most know their parents but don’t want to know of them. Others know and love their family. No matter how it is we all have a family. It’s our choice to claim them or not. Even if you don’t claim all your family the ones you do claim are there for you. The ones you don’t claim maybe not so much. You never realize how much you need your family until they aren’t there anymore. About 4 years ago I had two of my very close cousins die. They died two different ways and at two times but very close to the same time. First it was my older cousin Colby. He was killed and left on the side of the road. He was 17 at the time. The other was my little cousin Kera. She was killed in a car accident. She was 9 at the time. She died a week before her 10th birthday. They were both about 3 weeks apart. The point is that I didn’t think that I would lose them anytime soon because they were so young so I took advantage of them sometimes. I blame myself for them dying because I wasn’t there for them like I should have been. I didn’t use the time I had with them properly. Family does matter even if you aren’t the closest person to them, use all the time you do have with them wisely because you never know when that time will end. You never know when they won’t be there anymore for you. But, even when they are gone, just remember they are still with you if you believe they are and if you believe they are still there they will be there for you no matter what happens.
