Summary

Why test the waters when you can dive right in to Part 1 of the chilling trilogy? You know those horror books that you start reading and you just can’t put it down because you must know what comes next? Well my life is kind of like that. I could go on and write one of those long introductions that you might get halfway through and put the book back on the shelf because it is just too wordy and it takes too long to grab your attention, but that is not who I am. I am not really a writer; I am a serial killer so let’s jump right in. Shall we? Welcome to a book much different from any other you have ever read before. I am here on behalf of all serial killers. Most books depict the “serial killer” as a crazy psycho – don’t get me wrong – we are, but these authors do not give an understanding of what happens from our side - The Dark Side. There is a dark side in all of us. If you dare chance the possibility of getting in touch with yours, then please….do read on.

Chapter 1

Humans are very interesting creatures and predictably fearful at the same time. What they fear they must explain in order to give themselves some false sense of safety through understanding. This has caused scientists to spend countless time and money on research into the age old argument of nature vs. nurture. Those scientists supporting nature believe that serial killers kill because of some type of brain damage, disorder, injury, or disease. The scientists that support the nurture argument lean more towards the cause of the killing being from physical and mental abuse, and neglect during the serial killer’s childhood. There is even a science that has resorted to mathematics to try to understand the serial killer. They have drawn a parallel between the erratic behavioral patterns of serial killers to that of natural disasters.

They are still researching and they still don’t have the answers. There are serial killers with no type of brain abnormalities and had great childhoods. I personally believe it is like anything else in life, you either are something or you are not. You are a doctor or you are not. You are a lawyer or you are not. You are a police officer or you are not. You are a serial killer or you are not. I have some other theories, but I will keep those to myself for now. In all honesty, they will never know.
