Harry Potter does not belong to me (sadly), but J.K. Rowling. Also, the war didn't happen in this story. There is no Voldemort or death eaters. Enjoy.
Harry's POV
"Hey, Harry!"Hermione called. A million things went through his mind as she said this. You see he had found out a secret during the summer and did not want anyone to figure it out. You see, he, Harry Potter, was gay and in love with his archnemesis, Draco Malfoy. He wasn't exactly sure when he noticed this, all he knew was that he was in trouble for 2 reasons. Reason one, Draco made it his life's work to tear down and torment Harry and his friends. Reason two, they were supposed to hate each other. Especially since Harry denied Draco's offer to be friends. "Harry?" He was abruptly shaken out of his thoughts. "huh?" "Did you even hear what I said?" Hermoine asked. He shook his head. She sighed. "Maybe we should take a break." Ron nodded vigorously. They had been working on homework for nearly an hour now. While walking back from the library they ran into none other than the devil himself.
"Well if it isn't Harry Potter and his pets?" a voice sneered. Harry cringed. Of course, he had to show up now. "What do you want Malfoy?" he asked, slightly exasperated, not really wanting to be there right at the moment. "What do I want, Potter?" he drawled, "what I want is to see you and your pathetic house lose the House Cup this year AND," he said, putting emphasis on the and, "to meet me on the seventh-floor corridor at 6 o'clock," he said with a wink. Harry's stomach did backflips. "Harry won't be going anywhere with you!" Ron spat. His feelings towards Draco being made very clear. "Tut-tut Ron, you should not speak to your betters like that." Ron's face went as red as a fire engine. He was about to open his mouth when Hermione stepped in. "Come on Ron, Harry can make his own choices, but we might have to peel you off the wall if you keep this up." Draco and Harry snorted. Ron glared at them and stalked away. Hermione went up to Harry and pulled him aside. "I trust you will stay safe and make the right choices," she said and walked away. Harry stood there speechless. Did she know about his secret? If so, how did she find out? And when? He stood there for a moment, questions running through his head when he heard a cough. He turned and saw Draco just standing there leaning against the wall. "So your pets actually do leave you alone," he chuckled, "who knew." Harry sighed, he didn't have the energy to fight back. "What do you want Malfoy?" "I want to know why I received a letter this morning before breakfast that was from you." Harry paled. "Something about you wanting to be friends." "Oh," He visibly relaxed, "I am just tired of us constantly fighting. I mean just cause you were, and sometimes still are, a snob, doesn't mean we have to constantly be fighting." Draco stood there for a second in silence. Then he repeated what he had told Harry earlier, "Meet me on the seventh floor, left corridor at 6 o'clock." He then turned on his heel and headed toward the great hall for dinner.
