JOB INTERVIEW
It was a sunny Sunday morning; I was recently fired at my old job where I was accused of theft and given’ an option to either to return the money or go prison. Since I didn’t actually take the money there was no money to give bake, Jessie had to give them the money she saved up. Or else I would have been arrested and would have taken care of my kids? Leaving me and her children in an even worse bad condition. Problem is bills still need to be paid:
AJ SCHOOL FEES $1 200
CELEST SCHOOL FEES $1 200
FOOD SUPPLY $ 0 500
WATER SUPPLY $ 0 750
TAX $ 0 056
TOTAL $ 3 606
When I started to cry since I can’t afford the bills.
AJ (Alvin Jayden) my second born child and only son. Younger than his sister with two minutes and a couple of seconds. He is a seven-year-old who is actually, shockingly more responsible, caring and understanding than most adults are. Yet at the same time he is mostly known for being selfish, self-centered, intelligent, stubborn, conning, fast thinking of getting out of bad situations and for only being truthful to his mother and his mother alone. His mother and older twin sister are the only two people he cares about. In his books his mother is the whole world and universe.
AJ says with a sympathetic voice, “Mom I know that the bill is seriously bothering you. So, I found you a couple of job interviews even though few...well most....” Sighs as he continuous. “None...... none of them are professional. They’re all maid jobs” Started tearing up with the thought of her mother working as maid AGAIN, he continuous “I tried to get you other jobs but until I’m able to get you a better job you will have to... (stammers) ta...tak...e take the job.” Starts crying, “I’m so sorry mom there’s nothing I can do.”
I embrace AJ while least trying to hold back my tears of the pain of serving someone hand and foot again. “Thank you so much AJ at least you found something for me.” I pose and weep my tears away, I immediately changed the topic, trying to make sure that AJ doesn’t spot the pain in my eyes. “Enough of the tears and tell me where your sister is.” AJ replies as he weeps away the tears in his eyes feeling as useless as ever “I have no idea she was supposed to be here by now I left her at the library with a couple of friends. Celest who enters the room.
Celest is AJ’s older twin sister. Celest and AJ are two completely different when looking at them you can never guess that their twins ever!!!! The way they look, talk and behave extremely different. Celest is more passive give in quick, easily taken advantage of, extremely naïve and Obeys and trusts everyone, EVEN STRANGERS!!!! Even though Celest is close to her mom, she is always blind towards her mother’s pain and suffering unlike AJ.
“Mom, can we go to this place called a laser tag a lot of people in my class say they go there every single Sunday,” she says with a pleading smile across her face. I tried to tell her no without mentioning our current situation, “instead of going to a boring laser tag game you and AJ can stay home and do something else while I go to these job interviews.” She gives me the puppy eyes and sad frown, “Please, please, please can we go please” AJ stared at her, with cold dead eyes and a malicious smile and with a dead serious expression said “Or we could just stay here and play a fun game of cards until mom gets back, RIGHT!! CELEST!!” Celest looked at AJ’s facial expression and nodded her head purely out of fear of her brother.
By this time, it was already night. All the jobs that I went to I was rejected because of the way I looked, her old, ripped, dull and cheap clothes and my last report from my old job. I can’t go back home without a job, AJ tried so hard yet no one will employ me because of my past job. I went into a small dark rooftop of a small restaurant where I usually go yet buy nothing, just go there to see the beauty of the city.
Just as about I was about to leave a I heard a male voice ask. “beautiful rooftop, beautiful view of a beautiful city and on top of that an even more beautiful lady but she is in tears. Care to share why this beauty queen is crying??” I turned at the stranger with blond hair, clean shaved dark blue eyes, pink small lips, square faced slightly taller than me to top that of extremely muscular, you could see it since he was wearing an unbuttoned white shirt.
“Why in my right mind would I share my problems with a stranger?” I quickly snapped at him. “Because I am capable of helping you.” He spoke. “How?” I said with the lowest volume of my voice. “Talking to someone about your problems can you help more well than you think. Especially if that someone is a stranger you’ve just met and possibly never see again. Plus, I can keep a secret and even if you do not believe me you can still tell me after all what are the odds that we’ll meet again? So just take advantage of the opportunity you have right now. Luckily, for you, I love hearing about how messed up other people lives are-” “Ouch, calling my life messed up, even though you aren’t wrong. But still hurts.” I interrupted him. He responded back “You didn’t let me finish, like I was saying before you interrupted me. I love hearing how messed up other people’s lives are because it gives me a break from my everyday life, involving twenty-four hours of messed up. Helps knowing that other people have screwed up lives like a quarter of my life. You live a luxurious life compared to mine.” I chuckled a bit when I heard him say that, he pulled up a small welcoming, friendly smirk across his face when he saw me chuckling to what he said. “Wana exchange lives,” I offered as a joke. “That depends why you are committing this sin of letting a beautiful lady cry at a beautiful rooftop with a beautiful city view and to it of at an amazing view of night, moon and stars. So please explain your sins to me, don’t forget to tell me bit about yourself.”
“It’s a long story, I could tell you about why I was crying which is the shortest version or I could tell you the story from start to end but that would take a lot of your time.” I responded thinking that he would leave. But he responded “I love...Love stories so I would rather hear the full story and about the story being long please take all the time you need I could literally stay her just to hear you tell me about the time you tied your shoe lace, even if that story takes ten years to hear that’s how desperate I am; to get away from my life.” I once again gave him a chuckle and he once again responded to my chuckle with a cute smirk. “Well buckle up for a long ride, ‘Mr. I Love Hearing About Other Peoples’ Problems’ cause it’s going to be a long...LONG story.......

This was honestly supposed to be one chapter but it was too long for a chapter so I decided to make it into two chapters.
