Potions

Start writing here…I walked into Potions and took my regular seat next to Draco, the past few months with him had been pure bliss. We went on romantic dates, he sent me love letters and deep down I felt as though I was falling in love. As I sat down he pulled me in close and placed a kiss on my forehead. However, the moment was quickly cut off as professor Snape waltzed into the classroom.

“Open your books and turn to page.....”

“Psst, Potter.” “Emmy, listen.”

I turned to Draco and looked right into his eyes, even though the grey was cold it felt so captivating and I couldn’t help but melt.

“Emmy, are you listening to me, I know I’m handsome but this is serious.”

“Yes sorry, what is it you wanted to say?”

“Meet me at the top of the astronomy tower after class, there’s something I wanna show you.”

The remainder of the lesson seemed to go by in a flash and as it ended I couldn’t help but be excited. As everyone began to pack their belongings away I made my way towards Hermione.

“Sooooo, Emmy what was that all about huh?”

“I’m not sure Mione, but I’m so excited and seeing as Draco has something important to tell me I think this is the right time to tell him I love him. ”

Harry sighed, rolling his eyes he reminded me, “I’m glad you’re happy, but if he hurts you in the slightest, I’ll break Malfoy’s skull.” Hermione tutted, “Harry we all know you’re protective of your sister, however no matter how many dangerous stunts you may have pulled Malfoy does still appear to be stronger than you.” I giggled and as we all left I made my way to the tower.

Once I reached the top it was nothing like I had imagined. There were rose petals decorating the ground and an array of candles, which were romantically lighting the area. “Draco, I-”

“Oh, is it too much, do you not like it. Ah fuck that stupid Weasley said you’d like it.”

“Oh no, I do I love it, I really do. What’s all this for?”

“Emilia Potter, would you do me the honour of being my date to the yule ball?”

“Draco Malfoy, I would love to.”

He ran towards me and held me in his arms, and I decided that there’s no time like the present. “Draco, I love you, I am in love with you”

I looked up at him and he kissed my nose, “I love you too Potter.” A smile creeped onto my face and Draco grabbed my face in his hands. He kissed me passionately and then lowered me to the ground. Lightly choking me, he kissed my neck and began to unbutton my shirt as well as his own. My back arched slightly as Draco left hickeys all over my chest. He was the artist and I was his canvas. When we were done he spun me around and left me with butterflies in my stomach. I was in love with Draco Malfoy, and this was going to be the best year ever, as long as my brother didn’t die.
