Chapter 1
Running is one of my favorite things to do. Zach couldn’t think about anything else right now. He crouched behind a branch; his breathing labored. He’d had enough of adrenaline. He tried to cover his face, but it was too obvious; they were heading straight for him. “Get the gem!” Cerise ordered her cult. Zach tried to fight back, but he reluctantly flees. The rain was hard, and the soil was saturated, resulting in mud. It was a difficult task.
Not only does Zach have to flee for his life, but the mud is slowing him down. He raced for what seemed like an eternity. He had lost track of them. Then he heard a scream that terrified him to death.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and begin at the beginning.
Zach slept soundly in his bed at Herron’s house. Animals from the underworld surrounded him. The underworld, to be precise. Zach is a descendant of Hades and Persephone, the underworld’s king and queen. He adores his work, which entails keeping the citizens of the underworld secure. He was sound asleep when he heard, “Rise and shine, Zach!” Zach’s ear was screamed at by Reese. Zach retorts with a groan. Reese sighed and reached for the curtains, which she flung open. The sun’s rays struck him in the chest. He hid his face behind his side. He whined, “Reese, give me time.” “Mom told me to wake you up, Zach,” she said as she yanked on his blanket. Zach tugged on his blanket, but he had to let go because he was exhausted. He was exhausted from his job the day before. Cerberus, the three-headed dog, and his faithful companion must be looked after by him. “Zach! Breakfast is on the table! “Persephone screamed. Reese left the room while Zach slowly got up. Zach took a shower and went to the toilet. He dressed and packed his belongings to visit his friend Jonah. When his mother was preparing breakfast, he went downstairs and saw his two siblings, Reese and Ryan, conversing.
“How are you doing, mom?” Zach enquired of his mother. “Your father, taking care of the souls of the underworld,” she said, looking at him. He said, “I’ll be at Jonah’s house. I’ll accompany him to school tomorrow.” “Make sure you pack your extra clothing, honey,” she said. “I will,” Zach answered as he walked out the door.
Zach visited Jonah’s estate. Jonah currently resides in the mansion where his father Epimetheus and mother Pandora once resided. He knocked on the door of their mansion. Epimetheus was standing there. “Hello Epimetheus, I’m just looking for Jonah; is he here?” “Sure, he’s in his room with his buddies,” He replied with a grin, alluding to Jack and Daniel’s relationship. Zach simply rolled his eyes as he walked into the mansion.
Zach entered Jonah’s room and unlocked the door. Jonah, Jack, and Daniel were all waiting for him. Zach sat down and put his bag down. “Are you guys all set for Gleen?” Jack enquired of the three. “Gleen, you’re right. The mythology children’s academy, “Daniel sighed. He gave Jack a wink and began flirting with him. That is Daniel’s bad habit; indeed, everybody has one.
Jonah concocts spells and potions to punish those who have angered him. He’s the son of Pandora and Epimetheus, after all. He’s intelligent and wise, but Pandora has made him curious.
Jack has a bad temper. He is Zeus’ and Eurynome’s son. He has the ability to control thunder, just like his father, and water, just like his mother. He uses his abilities to wreak havoc on those who are harming his lover and friends. He may, however, be a little rash.
Daniel flirts with several boys and girls but never has sex with any of them. Artemis’ adopted son, he guards his virginity and learns to defend himself with a bow and arrow. He defends livestock, the poor, and the weak.
Finally, Zach is sarcastic and overly protective of his family. He’s often obstinate. Working in the underworld was difficult for him as Hades and Persephone’s eldest son.
“No flirting, Daniel. Do you want to give Jack your virginity?” Daniel was nagged by Jonah, who was reading a spellbook Aarona had sent him. Daniel was kissed on the cheeks by Jack, who chuckled. Daniel looked at him and said, “I love you,” in hushed tones. Zach got up and asked them a question “Why do you guys despise Gleen so much? We’re all welcome,” “It’s all stereotypical, such as Aphrodite’s child being lustful and Ares’ child being violent. I mean, we’re not the same. Daniel, on the other hand, is unique in that he flirts with everybody.” “Jack said.” “So?” Zach inquired, raising an eyebrow. To Daniel’s comment, Jonah replied, “everyone is a cliche.”
“So, we’ll be leaving tomorrow. I’m hoping we’ll be able to stay together for a long time “”Jack said.” The four then heard the sound of a horse’s neigh. Jonah’s room was invaded by a pegasus. Jonah patted his back and said, “Miles, you’ve been a good kid. You have the ability to fly.” “Your pet is going to miss you,” Zach said to Jonah. Jonah sighed and looked at his pet, who was also sighing. “Oh, we’ll be in dorms, and I’m going to miss him,” He said this while stroking his fur. His mother gave him the horse for his 12th birthday. Jonah closed his eyes and lay down on his bunk. The others were perplexed, so they sighed and sat down on the concrete, closing their eyes, realizing they’ve been hypnotized into sleeping.
Before, Svea casts a spell to the young boys as she sneaked in for a prank.
