Chapter 1: Savior
Karamatsu let out a sigh as he walks home from school. High school was getting harder and harder for him. Especially since he and his brothers seem to be drifting further apart. Karamatsu decided to take a stroll through the park to clear his head. He just kept walking through the park and didn't even realize that he had walked into the woods.
The woods that so many people in the city avoided.
When he looked up a sense of fear sunk in when he realized he walked to far in and had gotten lost. He looks around rapidly trying to remember how he got where he was. Before he starts to walk away, trying to leave, he hears whimpering. He turns his head and despite everything he walks towards the sound.
When he got closer he was shocked to see that the whimpers came from a wolf. A wolf that had it's leg caught in a bear trap. He steps closer and steps on a twig alerting the wolf who turns its head to stare at him. He flinches when the wolf growls with its ears folded back and teeth bared.
He gulps and walks over with hands in front of him. "It's okay. It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." He says as he walks over to the trap that was closed around their leg. He hums and pushes on both jaws of the trap. The wolf huffs and Karamatsu gave a hard push which pops the trap open. The wolf immediately pulls their leg away before licking the wound.
Karamatsu hums with a frown before flinching as the wolf got closer. "Um..hi..sorry about your leg." He says nervously as the wolf stares at him. The wolf gave a soft growl before taking off. Karamatsu watches the wolf as it ran off, deep into the woods. Karamatsu sat there for a bit before he got up to head home.
"What a beautiful animal. I hope they're okay." He says as he finds his way out of the woods before going home.
-Your POV-
I felt bad for running off but it's not like I could thank him. Not when I was still a wolf. I limp back into my den and curl up on my pile of blankets and pillows. I sigh and shift back to my human form. I glance around for that roll of bandages. I wrap my ankle with the bandages and blush softly.
"He actually saved me...he didn't even try to hurt me or capture me...he looked so concerned." I say and smile as I think about my savior. "I..I want to see him again." I say before biting my lip. "If I'm careful...I can track his scent and find him." I say before shifting back into a wolf.
I leave my den and begin my search to find my savior.
I just hope he won't get scared.
