"He is beautiful?"Bright keeps mumbling under his breath.

"What are you thinking Bright? You look extremely frustrated." Mike nudged Bright on his shoulder using his hands.

"No...It's nothing. I can't focus on today's class." Bright completely denied his thoughts while rushing his fingers through his hair.

"That's rare," Mike spoke while nodding his head in disbelief.

"Come on... every day isn't the same." Bright exaggerated like he isn't sure enough."I should just go home to rest." Bright said trying to stand up to leave the classroom.

Suddenly a husky voice stopped Bright from moving from his position.

"Hey, YOU!" Win called for his beloved student who is about to leave the classroom without even asking for his permission.

"Do I seem invisible to you? " Win added while staring at his student.

Bright's heart is beating so fast, his palm is all sweaty and he is clueless about what to do next.

Mike kept on whispering Bright's name but the person seems lost and Mike is unsure of his friend's hearing ability.

"What's your name?" Win asked while pointing his pointer toward Bright. The red laser light of the pointer doesn't seem to bring Bright's soul back to his body.

Win is getting furious by the action of his student.

Mike replied to his teacher, "His name is Bright sir."

Meanwhile, Bright was just standing there and the nervousness was killing him which he doesn't know why...

Bright has been the best student from the beginning and every teacher of the university like him for his polite, mature behaviour and also because of how popular Bright is... not just for his grade but also for his looks.

"Is he m—ute?" Win asked Mike while giving Bright a judgmental look from head to toe.

Before Win could finish his sentence Bright just left the classroom and the whole classroom started rustling because of the change of Uni's top student's attitude which they just witnessed.

Win was beyond shocked and embarrassed but he managed himself by saying.."I'll just deal with him later, now concentrate on this topic." By saying this Win turned his head toward the slideshow that he has been presenting to his students.

After the class Win called for Mike to stay back and asked for more information about Bright...like his ID no and phone number.

Fast-forwarding-(afternoon that day)

(Conversation on phone)

📞Why did you leave like that?

📞Why? What do you want?

📞I am asking you a question here..why you are so mad?

📞I am not mad!

📞Bright says it. You were disturbed before...then...how could you suddenly disappear when the teacher is still talking?

📞I had a headache.

📞Stop lying!

📞Tell me. What do you want?

📞Nothing. I am just here to tell you. Metawin sir asked for your number after class and i gave it to him. He might call you...

📞Why did you give him? Why didn't you told me before? Shittt!

📞He is our teacher! How am I supposed to say no🤦🏻

📞Ok, let's talk later. I am switching off my phone.

📞What? why? Bright!!!!

📞Hey!!!!!!!!

Mike realised that his friend already put down his call and switched off his phone. Mike knows that Bright can be really awkward sometimes. But he understands and that's why he gives his friends enough space and time.

(At Bright's condo)

After talking to Mike, Bright got more frustrated... He kept on pacing in his own rooms for like eternity...

Bright can't believe what just happened to his already fucked up life.

"Why the teacher has to be Metawin out of all people and why he has to be my course teacher when there are so many alternative teachers available?" Bright blunted out that spilt from his mouth like he is almost shouting.

Bright is clueless about what he is gonna do with his life now! The boy who is fond of learning new machinery operations and mechanical skills suddenly don't wanna continue his course anymore because of a certain someone... who is none other than his own course teacher and his long lost CRUSH!

If there is something called first love then it has to be Metawin. No one can take the place Win already got inside Bright's heart without even knowing he owns.

The next day-

Bright was called by the head of the department of mechanical engineering (Tha Sataporn Panichraksapong)

As a fourth year's student of Thammasart University, Bright is worried about what he might have to suffer for his rude behaviour toward his course teacher...He knows pretty well...why he was called so early in the morning...

After knocking on the door twice, a voice was heard from behind the door.."Come in"

Bright was not shocked at all when he saw his mechanic's course teacher Win Metawin Opasiam-kajron was also there.

Bright knew he has to deal with Win....today or tomorrow but he was just not prepared to receive Win's personal call last night.

"How is life going on Bright?" Said the departmental head.

Bright just nodded and said... "Everything is good sir"

"I am sure, you already know why you are here." Departmental head said while looking at Bright and then Win.

(Bright is scared and nervous for the first time in front of his dept head. But he is strong and smart, he can handle it, right? )

Bright's brain just stops functioning the moment Win looked at him.

"I am sorry Sir, I was in bad shape yesterday... So I just left your classroom without informing you." Bright composed his all thoughts and said it in one breathe.

"Whom you are saying this, Bright?" Win spoke for the first time in a very cold tone."You are not even looking at me" He added.

Bright can't trust his own voice anymore. He just needed to end this meeting as soon as possible, so that he can run for his life.

"I am sorry Sir for my rude behaviour yesterday." Just by saying this Bright looked toward Win to find him already staring at him.

Win nodded and gave Bright a genuine smile...

It took everything inside's Bright to not look at this Metawin again... Bright turned his gaze on P'tha and asked his permission to leave.

P'tha is a very talkative person and also he is well known for his bad jokes... So, P'tha just won't let Bright go so easily.. He asked him to seat beside his course teacher.

Bright has no choice left but to seat beside Win Metawin.

"Bright, do you know our teacher Metawin is also graduated from this university?" Said P'tha.

Bright just nodded his head up and down.. because he doesn't wanna open his mouth trying to short the conversation...He is scared and frustrated of exactly what?

"Win was the top 4 student of our university in his graduating year, he worked so hard and look at him now. Last month he joined our university as a lecturer of mechanics." P'tha continuously keeps speaking the words without any direction or stop.

"Yesterday was his first-class... So he was really nervous and you know what Bright? He thought, he must've done something wrong that's why you left the classroom." by saying this P'tha started laughing while pointing at Win.

Win is really embarrassed for the sudden outburst of the dept head. Yes, he was nervous and excited about doing his dream job...Teaching his favourite subject also makes Win feel all giggly inside his tummy...But now Win is really confused on how to reply to P'tha's comment. So he chooses to just stay silent and let P'tha continue the rest of the conversation...

Meanwhile, Bright was just kept looking at P'tha..He was barely listening to any word P'tha was saying.

"So Bright, I know you are such a great student but you should learn few more things from Win... Because I know you are also going to choose teaching as your profession..Right?" P'tha said.

"Yes Sir...It's my dream job too" Bright replied with a small smile on his face.

Win knows P'tha won't stop gossiping but he has to go now otherwise he will be late for his first-class...

"Sir, I really have to go now. I have a class to attend.."

By saying this Win turned his head toward Bright..."Isn't it your class Bright?"

Bright just hummed as a response..

Both Bright and Win bid goodbyes to their departmental head and turned back to their heels... Bright was following Win to his classroom...

In the midway of the hall... Win slowed down a bit to catch up with Bright..on the other hand, Bright is lost in his overthinking world and unaware of the fact Win is staring at him..

"Bright...Do you still remember me?"Win said using a very soft tone.

Bright's jaw dropped and he stopped walking... he is just speechless and he can't believe what he just heard...Is that mean Win knew Bright existed... for all these years?
