Roarrr" I heard the load thunderclaps .I wrapped myself in my second hand blankets out of fear . I am just an ordinary young and less fortunate guy . I live with my family (everyone but my dad he left us when I was younger)and actually allot of people who I don't even know stayed there. Now it is time for bed or I won't be able to get up for college tomorrow. I finished school a year ago and then got a bursary for college. Cluck-cluck chickens woke me up. As I walked to school I heard a public telephone ring, I found it very strange because no one was around so I figured it could be a call for me . I walked closer to pick up the telephone,I answered the phone "SON" the person on the other side said. Shocked I asked him who he was, what he wanted and allot more were that came from . It's me your GOD replied the man ,in about 3 minutes a little girl will be passing you and she will be handing you a cellphone ,take it . 3 Minutes later the girl passed me and handed me the phone the guy was talking about ,I took it. It is now time for first tea break I and received a message from a annoumous person,the message contained a photo and a name and said " this guy needs your help"
I then thought about it and kept asking myself "how can I help this guy" . My day couldn't have got worse I felt missrable the entire day . At least it is time for the college to close,I just want to get home. As I was walking down the street a saw a man walking up to me , as he got closer I had a better perspective of his face "wait,isn't it that guy" I kept asking myself . I kept on telling myself that this guy doesn't need my help. Then I saw the man aiming to jump infront of a car . Immediately I thought I knew what to do, I ran as fast as possible grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the road . The man started yelling at me for saving me he also told me that I am a sick misfortune,
"Ooh,I am the sick one but you the one who wants to commit suicide is perfectly fine " was my reply.
Then after the man explained I kind of understood why he did it , a few years ago he had a girlfriend and after a few months she fell pregnant,her father paid him to disappear. He went because he needed the money. Yesterday he walked into them ( his ex girlfriend and his little girl ) . He wanted to fix things with her and get to know his daughter but she didn't forgive him yet . I told him to tell her everything and convenience her that he had changed and could be a good father to the little girl. He convinced
her that he had changed and she gave him a chance.
