Jackson was the popular guy in school, the famous star quarterback Ridgeway high school.

Everyone loved him him left and right, he had everything he everything he ever wanted or so that’s what people thought, but you never really know what goes on inside a person’s head do you?.

no one noticed when his smile became fake, when his eyes didn’t shine with happiness anymore, when he didn’t go out with his friends anymore or go to parties. Slowly he started losing himself even though he was trying to hold on, nothing was working no matter what he tried.

at home his mom was too distracted to with her new husband and little stepson to notice that anything was wrong with her son that he was barely eating and leaving his room, no one thought anything of it when he started looking weak, dark shadows under his eyes from sleepless nights, slowly his grades started slipping till they dropped all the way to F’s he was kicked off the team.

no one noticed how he slowly started to disappear barely showing up at school anymore. The principal tried to call his mom about him failing school and his attendance and see if everything’s alright at home but his mom again was busy with her stepson and husband to notice that she was about to lose her son.

one day the last day Jackson finally had enough he couldn’t take it anymore. He needed answers before he made his choice.

He went downstairs to speak to his mom but when he didn’t notice the bottle of wine on the counter hidden behind her and beside the bottle a half full glass of wine.

Today marks the day his dad died, he was 11 when it happened on the way home from a game of football with his dad at the park, he was in the car laughing at something his dad said before a drunk driver came out of nowhere heading straight towards them.
