Crashed( unedited)

It was a frustrating day, the five cadets were abandoned around seven months earlier. They were getting supplies from Earth, which were going to be delivered to Titan. Though, they were only in training. The simulation was only digital, not real life. They needed to find a way through the asteroid belt without getting hit, but all ways took too long.

" This is so annoying!” Lawrence was in the training room,” Why would they leave us at our position.” He upgraded to level three. Ambrose was on his computer, looking at transmissions from eight months ago,” I don’t know, that’s what I am trying to figure out.” he pushed up his glasses.

Lawrence took a break and sat next to Ambrose,” So how does this work exactly.” he asked. Ambrose curled his lips into a goofy smile,” Technology today has allowed us to do more things than we could have earlier, like extended life and faster space travel. Before we went into Earth, I managed to get a spare USB chip. If I can get into the logs of transmissions from around eight to seven months ago, we can know more about why they did it.” he explained,” but it would be faster and easier if I used the main room. I just don’t want to disturb the others.”

Elise was working on the navigation system,” Any luck finding a route?” Khalida asked. Both Aaron and Khalida looked at her.

" Get back to work if I find a possible route I will tell you.” she dodged. Lawrence and Ambrose went into the room with the USB.

They both went towards Aaron, and handed him the USB,” What’s this for?” Aaron asked, they both looked at each other and took the USB back, and plugged it in,” I am trying to figure out why they did what they did, and my computer cannot access it. Your job is the least important, so we are taking over your side.”

Before he opened the site, Elise sighed and put her hair up in a ponytail. They stopped in an outer space gas station. She left the room to go get gas,” Why do we need to get gas?” Aaron asked Khalida.

" I don’t know, these pods don’t need gas. They were designed to run on radiation,” she responded, she then looked at the asteroid belt and realized what they were going to do.

Time skip- sorry if I have bad grammar

They were getting ready to go through the belt, Khalida was in navigation, Elise was in co-piolet, and the others were helping navigate the systems,” Are you sure that we should do this?” Lawrence was nervous, there was a high chance they may not make it. There was also a chance they would get thrown off course.

" Well, we can’t pull back now.” Khalida responded,” And hey, maybe if we make it we will get promoted to real piolets.” she tried to lighten the mood.

" And a parade, and a holiday just for us.” Ambrose added, Elise chuckled,” The only thing those cheapos are going to get us are extra holiday packages and a bigger dorm.”

" Hey, I heard that the bigger dorms have better food!” Aaron argued with her.

Khalida scanned the area, and a geometrical map,” I found a route, we need to move fast though.” she got serious again.

" Warning, you are taking a highly dangerous route. Would you like to continue?” the computer warned. Khalida groaned,” Yes, I would like to take the route. Engage shields.”

The engines then started to roar as they zoomed into the belt, they almost got hit a lot and got hit. Then, Halfway the shields broke down. However, somehow they managed to survive the whole belt.

But just as the left, an asteroid got thrown out of the belt on their blind spot,” Wait did we do it?” Ambrose’s voice was breathy.

" Yeah we di-” Elise’s voice was interrupted by an asteroid hitting them. Knocking them out on impact.

Time skip, again

Elise woke up later, her vision was blurry and her ears were ringing loudly. She tried moving but it hurt too much. She laid there for a while before she got a wave of determination,” I won’t go anywhere if I just lay here doing nothing.” She thought to herself. She lifted her arms and dragged herself up, wincing at the pain. Her vision cleared, she looked around her. Her crewmates were laying there, unconscious. She looked outside the window where you can see things.

They were in a field, it was nighttime. It glowed with what looked like bioluminescence, she gasped at the sight for two reasons. One, it was a beautiful sight, and two, because they were on a whole different planet.

A/N: Sorry if this is bad. This is my first story, I promise I will try to get better. But anyways have a good rest of your day!
