Chapter one
I woke up in a field, darkness ran through me like a curse. It was cold I felt a pair of ice-cold hands brush past me. I swung around but there was nothing there. I started to panic.
I ran as fast as I could. I heard branches snapping behind me, I heard screams coming from all directions. I started breathing heavily. I woke up... It was all a nightmare.
I had been having a few bad dreams since my husband left for a business trip. He Is an art director and this is a massive opportunity for him. I wonder how he is? I haven't spoken to him in months, he won't answer my calls nor my texts.
Days go by and still no answer from him.
*ring ring* *ring ring* “hello you have reached Jasons voice mail service, please leave me a message and ill get back to you as soon as I'm available!” ugh. I start to get scared of why he isn't answering me. Did I do something wrong? Has he found a new wife? I hear the phone ring... I start to shake when I see his name on my phone. “Uh hello?” I say in a worried tone. I couldn't hear what was being said on the other side. I heard a loud whisper asking if I was okay and if I was at home. And before I could answer he hung up. I started to cry because I didn't know what was happening.
