Held my attention

"Often I get caught up in grammatical errors and spelling errors in stories. This one had a few, but nothing overwhelming and the story was interesting enough to keep me coming back for new chapters. I like that Jake never lost his independence and actually became stronger in his character arc. All in all, this is well written and engaging. "
