"An absolutely wonderful account of an army training exercise. We meet Quinn, Sergeant Major Quentin William Hatheway, right at the beginning. He is supposedly being hunted by his team during a live-firing exercise on the army base. But he and his team all know that the hated commanding officer, Martins, has no intention of allowing any of them to return to the base. They will all be taken out during an 'unfortunate accident' - if he has his way.! However, Quinn is a master tactician, and has his own rules for war! And a bad history with Martins! He rescues Maria, an unwilling drug mule, and his reciprocated love for her, and his dealings with Diego, the man she is being forced to work for, further complicate matters for him. This story is full of exciting intrigue with splashes of humour, making for an outstanding tale. I loved this story so much and will read it again and again!"
