Author's Note
Hello! Thank you for reading my book! It’s a Harry Potter fic but you can definitely still enjoy it without having seen Harry Potter or knowing much about it. I try to do a good job of explaining things so that new readers can understand but Harry Potter readers don’t have to reread millions of pages explaining concepts that they already understand.
It’s not 100% attached to the books’ canon and that becomes more obvious when Aisha’s own storyline becomes more fleshed out.
It’s rated mature mostly so people don’t report it but there’s nothing too mature in the book. There’s some description of blood and violence; there’s also a good amount of kissing but nothing smutty or explicit.
There are a handful of curse words and a good amount of innuendos but besides that, nothing too far past PG-13. (I’ll make sure to put warnings on everything to keep everyone comfortable.)
The book covers a few genres, it has romance, action, fantasy, drama, etc.
The main character is named Aisha (Pronounced Eye-Sha). She’s an OC and a black main character.
This is a continuous story so I promise you’ll regret skipping chapters. Though it is a fanfic, it comes with its own lore and deeper storytelling.
The beginning is rather romance-heavy with the deep lore unfolding in the background but as the book progresses, those of you who are in it for the action, lore, and overarching plot will get your fill.
The characters are not the actors, I have art breeders made with how all of them look if anyone would be interested in seeing them. (OCs are included in the art breeders)
To clear a few things up:
- Cho Chang’s name has been changed to Mei Chang because Cho is a Korean name but the character is Chinese and I know this was a point of contention for a lot of people so I just fixed it.
- Their schedules work similarly to A-day B-day except it’s a 5-day cycle. So they have different classes and free periods on Monday than they do on Friday.
- A few structural things are different from canon. They’ll be explained as they pop up.
- The characters start Hogwarts at the age of 12 so they graduate at 18. This makes the main cast 15 when this book takes place in Goblet of Fire.
I’m super dedicated to this book. I plan on writing 4 books in total to complete the saga. This one starts in Goblet of Fire and the final book will be Deathly Hallows. Depending on how people feel about the series, I’d definitely be up for writing past that.
I really love the Wattpad community and I think you are hilarious. So please, don’t be afraid to comment and share your thoughts.
