BreezeClan’s camp, chp 2
The sun shone brightly in the sky, no clouds were in sight. The deep blue sky was like the sea. It was clearly green leaf. Feeling sun warm her pelt, she stared at the endless camp. There were big, grassy, muddy walls with brambles on top. Dens and dens aligned the walls, all with vines, brambles and flowers to decorate them. A tree trunk lay balanced on the den at the top, with an old, grey cat sat eating a thrush. She stared into a vast cave entrance with a rock inside a-dawned with colourful herbs. She looked at the 3 piles, filled with fat, delicious food.
It’s so pretty! There’s so much to take in!
She thought excitedly. Finally, a big rock was at the top of everything—with a cave entrance below, with brambles and vines. She turned to her kin, but they were nowhere to be seen.
Hmph, they left without me.
She looked down, seeing them talking to some cats. She ran down, falling over once or twice. Once she caught up, she saw who they were talking to. Her father blinked at her and beckoned for her to say hello. “Hello!” She said to the cats. “Oh dear, Red koi, you’ve got your hands full.” The tom chuckled. “Hello, dear, I’m Worm fur.” He had no fur, just skin that was wrinkled. His light, hazel eyes were barely visible in the light.
What a strange looking cat..

Don’t be shocked-I’m just a different breed of cat.” He laughed he broke into her thoughts. “I think you look cool.” She chirped. The other cat had black fur like Black kit’s, but he had brown paws, ears, and a tail tip. He had red-ish brown eyes and a brown muzzle. “Oh.. hello. Who are you?” She said to the cat. He turned to her. “I’m Spider paw,” he smiled. “Worm fur is my mentor.” Red koi suddenly began to stretch. “It was nice seeing you again, Worm fur, Spider paw. We best be going,” he said. But, before they could leave. A tall, bulky tom with black fur and a brown splotch that looked exactly like the sun walked onto the rock, followed by a brown furred she-cat with grass green eyes. Confused, she listened to him yowl: “CLAN MEETING,” many groups of cats started to flood in. She looked to her kin, but she was lost. She began to panic, and crashed into her mother. “Mom! Where’s dad?” Without warning, she picked her up by her scruff. “Don’t worry. We’ll find him,” walking over to the tom, she placed her down. “Why did you let her out of your sight?” She scolded Red koi. Red koi touched his nose to hers. “Sorry, at least she’s here now.” He sighed at Raven kit. Black patch nodded. Suddenly, Koi kit crashed onto her back. “Sis! I found this big rabbit, look, look!” She shoved a rabbit in her way. Before she could say anything, the tom called: “we have a new warrior today. She has trained thoroughly and well. Muddy paw, step forth.”
Why does Spider paw look so angry..?
Spider paw stared at her as Muddy paw gave him a dirty look. “ this is Sun star. And, his deputy, Dirt wind. She’s also his mate. Muddy paw and Spider paw are their kits. Though, they don’t exactly.. get along..” Black patch whispered. “Sun star is our leader. You must respect him.” Koi kit nodded, and Raven kit was in awe, not listening. “I want to be just like him.” He smiled. But, turned his ears to listen to Sun star. “Your name shall be Muddy paws, in honour of you quick skills. Meeting dismissed.” She all of a sudden felt tired. She began to try and blink away her tiredness, but her mother seemed to notice. “Come on, let’s head to our nest.” As she was picked up with Koi kit and Black kit, she was dropped into her nest. She began settling down and curled up as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
