Chapter 1

Hi guys, this is a five shot based on terrace scene where Arnav accuses Khushi..

New Delhi:

Lakshmi Nagar:

On the terrace:

“Because I know about your and Shyam’s affair. I never thought you will stoop so much low Khushi. You never thought for once the person whom you have trapped is someone else’s husband and Raizada’s Son in law. If Di wasn’t pregnant, I would have exposed you in front of Di on the marriage day of Akash and Payal. I can do anything for my Di. I can even marry a characterless girl like you to save my Di’s marriage. I don’t want my Di to lose her Khushi(happiness) because of this Khushi. You asked me why I hate you. Right. I hate you because you don’t have a Character” said Arnav Singh Raizada each and each word piercing Khushi’s heart.

He left from there giving an angry glare while Khushi slumped down on the floor too shocked to react.

Arnav came down the steps with his same anger and was going towards Buaji’s house when he heard two names which he hates most now, Khushi and Shyam. He stopped hearing those names and looked around. Four neighboring aunties were talking while buying vegetables at the stall.

“Khushi! And Shyam! Why are they taking Shyam and Khushi’s name ?”thought Arnav and put his ears on their talks.

“Haan Saritha. Vijaya is saying right. Don’t allow any guy as PG into your house. Did you forgot what happened to Madhumati and Khushi ?” said one of the woman.

“Yeah Rama. How can I forgot ? That Shyam, even being married introduced himself as bachelor to Madhumati. It was Khushi Bitiya’s pure luck that she escaped from that Shyam” said Saritha.

“You know his wife is really a good woman and very rich too. His Brother in law is a very big business man but still that leech fell behind Khushi bitiya.” Said Rama.

“Are. He saved Khushi Bitiya in Lucknow from some goons. Then he followed her to Delhi. Knowing that Madhumathi is facing some problems in pension issue, he helped her as he is a lawyer. Then he portrayed himself as bachelor and stayed as PG. He impressed Madhumathi and she forced Khushi bitiya to get engaged to that Shyam Manohar Jha” said Sarita.

Arnav’s eyes grew wide hearing it.. Shyam stayed as PG in Buaji’s house and was engaged to Khushi.

“I can’t even forget the day before Payal’s marriage. That Shyam came and tried to take Khushi Bitiya forcefully. When Khushi Bitiya slapped him infront of all, he threatened to destroy her life.” Said Vijaya.

“So, I am saying you not to allow any guy to stay as PG in your house. Instead, you can allow any girl too” said Rama.

“Ok.. I will do that” said Saritha and the ladies left to their place.

Arnav who heard their conversation was shocked to the core. Shyam stayed as PG in Buaji’s house. He remembered how Khushi said even her fiancé’s name is also Shyam.

Did he misunderstood Khushi ? Is truth something else ? Arnav started towards Gupta house absent mindedly. He saw Garima sitting in the hall lost in deep thoughts from window..

“Shall I ask her ?”thought Arnav.

“Garima!!” Buaji came into the hall. Garima was too lost in her thoughts to listen..

“Oyee Garima..” Buaji shook Garima bringing her out of her thoughts..

“I am calling you from then.. Where were you lost ?”asked Buaji.

Garima didn’t said anything..

Buaji sat beside her and asked, “What happened Garima ? What are you thinking ?”

“I am thinking about Khushi jiji. Is she really happy ?”asked Garima.

“What are you saying Garima ? You, yourself said to me that you talked with sankadevi yesterday night. She said she is very happy. Right” said Buaji.

“Haan Jiji. She said to me that she is happy but I am not satisfied jiji. I feel something is wrong. And above all that Shyam is in that Raizada mansion. What if he tries to do something to Khushi ? We know how dangerous he is” said Garima.

“Haan Garima. Whatever you are saying is right. I still regret for forcing sankadevi to get engaged to that leech” said Buaji.

“Don’t regret jiji. It was Khushi’s luck that we found about him on right time and Khushi’s life is saved” said Garima.

“I feel bad for Raizadas especially Anjali Bitiya. She doesn’t deserve a person like him” said Buaji.

“Are you talking about Shyam Manohar Jha ?” came Arnav startling both the elder woman.

Both Garima and Madhumathi looked at Arnav with wide eyed.

“Arnav babua.. You..” Buaji stammered.

“What are you both talking ?”asked Arnav.

“Nnnothing beta” said Buaji.

“Don’t lie to me Buaji. I heard everything. I want to know entire truth” said Arnav.

Both the woman looked at each other.

“I know few things about him. I want to know everything about him.. This is the matter of my Di’s life. If you really consider my Di as your daughter, then say me everything” said Arnav.

The two older woman sighed. It is time for revelations

“Sit Bitwa. Let us talk” said Buaji.

Arnav sat down.. Buaji and Garima too sat beside him.. Buaji narrated Arnav from the time Payal’s first marriage, Khushi scandal in Sheesh Mahal, goons trying to misbehave her, Shyam saving her from goons, then following them to Delhi, staying in their house as PG portraying himself as bachelor, then how she forced Khushi for engagement, finally Khushi finding out his true colors.

“ Khushi even came to Shantivan to reveal Anjali Bitiya about Shyam but her mangalsutra broke and seeing her tensed form and love for Shyam, Khushi returned back. Then I took a promise from Khushi not to reveal anything to Raizadas thinking about Payal.” said Garima..

“We thought he would mend his ways but no.. He didn’t. He came here the day before Payal’s marriage” said Buaji.

“What!!”asked Arnav.

“Haan Bitwa.. That day..”Buaji started narrating what happened that day.

The day before Payal’s marriage:

The house is full of relatives and neighbors. Everyone are busy having their dinner at Gupta house.

“Uffo. Sarita Aunty have this” said Khushi keeping a ladoo in Saritha’s plate

“NO No Khushi. I am already full” Saritha protested.

“One Laddu won’t harm aunty” said Khushi with a smile on her face

“Feed me a laddu too Khushiji” came a sickening voice from the back making Khushi’s smile wipe off.

Madhumathi, Garima, Khushi and others looked at Shyam who is smiling shamelessly.

“You!! What are you doing here ?”asked Buaji marching towards Shyam..

“Why Buaji?? Can’t I come here ?”asked Shyam.

“Leave from here” said Garima angrily.

“Ofcourse I will leave from here. I am not interested to stay here anyway.. I will go from here taking what I want from here” said Shyam eyeing Khushi.

Khushi and others eyes grew wide hearing it.

Shyam marched towards Khushi with in a wink and held her hand.

“Come.. Let’s go Khushiji. I will make you mine now” said Shyam dragging Khushi along with him.

“You!! How dare you ??”Buaji came near him but Shyam pushed away Buaji forcibly making her fall down..

“Jiji” “Buaji” Garima and Payal rushed towards Buaji holding her before she falls down.

Shyam started taking Khushi forcefully who is protesting.. Buaji and others went behind Shyam.. Even, when others too protested, Shyam took out a gun from his pocket making everyone to be silent.

“If anyone of you come near, then I will kill them..” said Shyam with a mad anger.

Everyone looked at him scandalized.

Buaji, Garima and Payal looked at him helplessly.

Khushi who was looking at all this observed Shyam is concentrating on the crowd than her.. So, she just pushed off his hand which is holding the gun making the gum fall down.. Shyam turned towards her shocked..

One of the guy from the crowd took the gun quickly..

Khushi came out of the Shyam’s hold and slapped across his face tightly infront of whole crowd..

“Mr.Shyam Manohar Jha.. Leave from here. I would have called police and handed you to them but thinking about your wife, I am not leaving.. If you dare to come and force me again, I will definitely send you to jail” said Khushi..

Shyam looked at her with full rage..

“How dare you to slap me in front of everyone ?? Mark my words.. I will destroy you Khushiji.. I will destroy you.. I will show you what Shyam Manohar Jha is..” said Shyam and went away from there..

“This is what happened Bitwa..” said Buaji wiping her tears..

“Trust us bitwa, we really don’t know he is married man.” Said Garima..

“ We were really worried for Khushi after hearing Shyam’s words.. I really don’t understand to be happy that she married you or to be afraid as she is staying in the same house as that Shyam. Please, protect my Khushi.. She is innocent” Cried Garima.

Arnav is in another world hearing their confessions.. He wronged her.. He wronged the girl whom he loved.. Couldn’t he trust her ? The words he hurled at her sometime back are ringing in his ears.. “I hate you because you don’t have a character”

“Madhumatiji” came Happy Singh running into the house.. He was hell nervous and shivering.

“What happened Happy singh ?”asked Buaji.

“Woo.. Khushiji.. Khushiji fell down from the stairs..” said Happy Singh..

The trio got up from their seats..

“Her head is bleeding profusely” said Happy Singh..
