Chapter 1
I met him in college. He’s not in my circle of friends, but I saw him from time to time. We had one encounter and it stuck to my mind.
At the time, I was dating Brent. He’s my classmate and he’s been persistent in pursuing me so I decided to date him. A lot of girls like him, but he’s kind of arrogant. He knows a lot of girls want him but he rarely flirts with them. Not in front of me, anyway. Apparently, he does when I’m not around. But I only learned about that after I broke up with him.
Anyway, what was the situation again?
We were at Scott’s place, and he’s having a party. He invited a lot of people. His parents’ place is big and they have a huge swimming pool in the back. He’s loaded so it’s not an issue to him to hold such parties every month. Yes, he does it every month. It was during one of those parties. I came with Brent and we got separated as we hang out with our respective friends. Me with the girls and him with the guys. At one point, I met him near the pool and we made out on one of the benches available. It was hot. I’ve been with him a few times. I lost him when I went inside the house to get something to eat. Scott ordered a lot of pizza.
As the night went on and it neared midnight, I felt like going home already. I went around the place to look for Brent. Someone said they saw him upstairs, probably with the guys. Sometimes, they watch things in secret. I went up and tried each door I came across. The third door was open. I looked inside and the window was open, too. I called out but no one answered. I’m not sure what’s gotten into me, but the flowing curtains got me curious. The wind is blowing from outside. As I neared the window, though, a man came in. I was surprised but I rarely shriek or shout when I do. I recognized him. He took one look at me and he pulled me into him. I wasn’t expecting the kiss, he ravaged, he demanded, but since I don’t know him and I don’t like him, I resisted. I have a boyfriend and I can’t be doing this with someone else. I fought him but he’s too strong for me. That’s when I realized his breath smells like alcohol. He must be drunk. It wasn’t to the point of disgusting, but the situation is still unpleasant. He pushed me down the bed and I still tried to fight him. At that point, I knew I can’t. I was about ready to shout and call for help but he covered my mouth with his. He plundered. I tried to bit him. It still didn’t work and I found myself crying. I sobbed as I start feeling scared and helpless. It was then that he stopped, though. I stared at him as he stared at me. He cursed before getting up, leaving me alone in the room. He didn’t say anything, didn’t apologize. He just disappeared. I composed myself, but I cried some more at the reality of the situation. It was scary. I have seen him before but I don’t think I have talked to him once. He isn’t my classmate but I think he’s from the same department.
It took me a while before I emerged from the room. I wonder where he went? I went back down to join the other girls and I still haven’t seen Brent. I don’t think I should mention this to him. I believe he’s just intoxicated and that’s why he did that. I’m sure I wouldn’t excuse his behavior if he forced himself on me, but thankfully, he stopped with just kissing. Is it considered kissing when it was only him plundering my mouth and tasting my skin, and I hadn’t responded? It was still a scary experience.
I haven’t seen him for the rest of the night, so that made me relax. Brent didn’t notice anything as he sent me home after the party.
