Magical funny crazy cool

"This amazing mix of tech and magic, military amd esoteric has been an awesome reading. I absolutely liked it in every way - the techies not letting the general ho evil, the general having a softer side, the lore and tech in this world, what went on in peoples minds, even the brain hopping did not get annoying or cofusing. But it sure feels like a cliffhanger so I hope there will be a sequel (I haven't checked yet). "

"Deanna is a relatable main character and you want her to succeed I like the style of the writing (different perspectives) and the writer's ability to make something unusual seem normal a great read, once you start you will probably have trouble putting it down it's easy to feel invested in the characters It's also the perfect book for reading on the train or if you have some short reading time as the different perspectives make it easy to be able to put it down and go back to I enjoyed this book, worth reading :)"

"This is a book you definitely want to pick up PRONTO. It is an intriguing look into a world of magic, mystery, government secrets, and the many interconnected paths of the unique character cast. The primary perspective of the book is presented through the main character, Deanna, an out of work waitress in a small New Jersey town. She provides an intimate and psychological glimpse into a world of personal discovery. This new author, Deirdre S. Hopton, uses what might be referred to as an interactive, almost "thought bubble" style, to make the reader feel like an active participant in the Woodford community. I enjoyed the read immensely, and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for an exciting journey full of creative twists and turns. I, for one, will be first in line for the next volume in the Woodford Chronicles"
