Chapter 1
it was a normal day down in sweet alabama the birds was singing, dogs was barking, and flowers was blooming. The worst part about today is school although it may be the last day before summer it is the longest last day ever especially since i don't got no friends. Days feel like i am the mouse having to watch ever step so i won't get crushed. today is one of those day where i have all seven of my period and i do not like my teachers at all, if you don't have proof of anything they will blame everything on you. i am in my last period and the bell is about to rang but, then of course we had a stupid old fire drill again although we never had a fire. So, not only did my mom have to wait she also, embarrassed me in front of all the people that could have been my friends by calling me the worst name possible" chicken nugget come here" she says. everybody stopped what they was doing looked at me and just started bussing out laughing. i walked down the lane with my head down got in the car and me and my mom did not say anything until" hey how was your last day for now" mother says. why you ruined any chance of me making any friends for this summer i told her and then the car remained quiet.
we finally made it to the house where i got out the car, slammed the door, ran upstairs, and jumped on my bed crying. oh how i hate her and she will never leave me alone. suddenly, knock! knock! knock! at my door and of course it's my mother. yes mom "we do not slam doors in this house young lady now come downstairs and wash the dishes" but mom!! " lower your tone young lady you will not raise your voice to me now get downstairs before i show you a real reason to scream" i rolled my eyes when i was walking past her and made my way downstair to the sink. but, the day was filled with many surprises i was introduce by a small cute puppy.
when the puppy ran to m i turned around and ran to my mom giving her a big hug and whispering i love you in her ear i love you. Out of the sudden the ground started shaking, rain started pouring, wind started blowing, and pictures started falling. I held my mom scared then she told me to pick up the dog and run with her to the underground safe house so i did exactly that until we made it there. we are finally underground but trapped because a tree fell on the only exit my mom remembered,although there was a bed, dugged in food, and clothes it smells really bad down here like there was a hidden dead body. chole mom calls and says "this bed is only big enough for on person so sleep on my stomach ok". Now i did not want to caused any trouble so ok i say and jumped on her stomach.
As, were laying there we hear a laugher now this is not like the normal everyday laugher it's long then, there was a candle on the ground with no one by it until a whole group of people walk forward with a masked on. Mom! i yelled where is the puppy, whining in pain the puppy limps over with a broken paw and then lays down. i picked up the puppy slowly and carefully and my mom whispers in my ear" i clap my hands run as fast as you can away without me i won't make it" what noooo i don't think i can make it out here without you, without you i would have not knew about this and would have been dead or infected by these things that i believe looks like aliens.
it is not up for debate she tells me if she stays here it can slow them down and before she clapped her hands she said what ever you do DO NOT STEP IN THE WATER!!! and then clap i started running and she was nowhere near me. i stopped for one second look back and all of the masked people was on my mom until she got up with a masked on and started chasing me too" what is this the walking dead" i say to myself and then continue running again. i slowed down lowering stairs from a hatch but it is rusted so i placed the puppy inside my shirt and use all my strength to open it until i did climbed out and... when i got out closing the hatch behind me houses were teared, people was dead, and fires was started and i was standing here alone in this big world without my mom.
