"I think it was a good story. Very intriguing. I noticed a couple of grammar errors. 1st mistake I picked up was spelling 2nd mistake was POV. You started writing in 3rd person then switched to a 2nd person. Still, it makes a fantastic story. Well done Also if you plan on rewriting it. Choose who your main character is, write from her point of view and how she sees things is and choose what tense you write in."
The tragedy of Cabin 6
"First of all, it is fun reading the story titled `Cabin 6´, although it is a bit lengthy, as it is a VERY known story type. That does not make it fail though, as the friends on a road-trip stumble into the small town horror, or local urban legend. The writing style is fitting, and format is OK. No complaints. Some parts of the text just don't help to engage, or inform, the reader, as they repeatedly made me think of horror movies already watched & horror stories already read, or written myself. The resolution is weak, as it has the `all comes crashing down´ effect. Some finesse & we could have more than a copycat-killer, who conveniently escapes psychiatric care to murder (again?). ;-) The reason that I don't blame the author is: Fans could have funded the extra efforts it takes to post-process the story, and add variants to `boost NOT fluff-up´ the original idea. Drawbacks, which I consider spoilers: We don't get much data on the original incident. The escaped ax-murderer IS damn cliche within the horror community, and as my comment on a chapter mentioned: Young adults in denial about how toxic their `friendship´ has become, outside of memories, seem ill-prepared & stupid, immature & lacking. So, why do I still give stars? If some variants of the story would be finished & offered inside an anthology aka short story collection, then FEW would even realize how much work that takes & fewer would realize that this may be a better story than their very own first shots in a certain genre. Proofreading: There will always be people unaware, how much `wrong´ is the proper difference between UK English and USA English. Same on Australia, Canada, and New Zealand authors joining what I now summarize as `The Online Fray´ - Once more into the breach, my friends!"
