You walked down the side walk. Your long, silver hair pulled into a high ponytail. It ended at your hip and when the wind blew, your hair followed. You wore a black crop top and black leggings, it's something you always wear when you know things could get physical.

As you walked you thought of how you have trained just for this very moment. You would train for hours just so you can make it to this point. Many people had even told you that you were wasting your time, but you knew you could do it. You knew that if you tried hard enough, you would succeed.

Your thoughts were cut short as you noticed that you had arrived at your destination. UA High School. It almost felt to good to be true. As you walked through a large gate you took notice of some of the people around you. They all seemed to be pretty confident in themselves. It almost made you a bit more nervous.

The reason you wanted to come to this school was to become a hero. UA was a perfect example of a school for the best hero’s. As you walked you weren't paying attention to what was in front of you and you ran into someone.

You fell to the ground and when you looked up, a boy with spiky ash-blonde hair stood in front of you. He wore a scowl on his face as he looked down at you. To be honest, he was a little intimidating. “Tch. Watch where you're going dumbass.” he said to you.

He held out his hand to you and you gladly took it. “Sorry. It won't happen again,” you said, trying to make the situation a little less embarrassing. His scowl never left his face as he looked at you up and down, like he was trying to make sure you were ok.

His gaze then trailed to your eyes. His crimson red ones stared into your silvery irises. After a second he looked away and turned around. It seemed like he was done searching and so you left it at that.

You walked into a fairly small room and saw a table to the side. You saw that the table had a stack full of cards with a number on it and a pamphlet as well. You took one of each and headed out the door into the next one.

This one was a lot larger than the last. It had rows of seats and in the front, it held a large stage, and in the middle of it was a podium. You looked at your number and looked for its seat. It didn't take you long but as you tried more people started to make their way inside.

You finally found it and sat down. To the left of you was a small green-haired boy. He gave you a small nervous smile and you returned it. To the left of you was the same ash-blonde-haired boy from before. He looked at you from the corner of his eye and when you caught him, he quickly turned away, as if nothing happened.

You shrugged it off and paid attention to the front. That's when the auditorium got quiet. Then the pro hero Present Mic got on the stage. His hair was in the form of a claw as it curved behind his head. He wore his hero outfit and his voice rang over the quiet auditorium. Some people covered their ears from his loud voice.

“Alright, ladies and gentlemen! Are you ready?” he yelled. The auditorium stayed quiet and slumped a bit from disappointment. “You all are a bunch of party poopers,” he said. “Now. I know you all know who I am so let's get to the point. Today you all are going to be taking some examinations. These exams will test the way you think and act. If at any time you think that you can't handle this you will be able to exit on your own accord.” he said.

You felt even more nervous now. But you decided to stay, it was your dream to become a hero after all and you are going to stick to it. “The first exam will be practical. You will have to face villains that we have designed for you to take down. You can use your quirks to your fullest potential and you will have to think about what goes on around you. The villains that we have designed for you come in three levels. The smallest robot will be 1point. The bigger it gets the more points. Level 2 robots are 2points and level 3 robots are 3points. Your goal will try to get as many points as possible.” he explained.

You heard mumbling to the side of you and realized it was the green-haired boy. “The second exam will have you test your knowledge. It is indeed a written test but it will be based on situations that everyday heroes have to face. While some of these situations will have plenty of detail to help you answer, some will have as little as possible. Your goal for this exam is to answer as best as you can. This will give us an understanding of where your IQ stands.” Present Mic said.

‘So one tests your abilities while the other tests your knowledge. I can see how this can work. It will allow them to place some of the smarter people in a class together and train them to be better. While people who aren't as smart will be in another class starting at where their IQ and skills are.’ you thought to yourself.

“Excuse me sir, but on the pamphlet, it shows that there will be four robots in the first exam. Can you please explain?” a boy with navy blue hair said with his hand raised. “Oh! I almost forgot!” the hero said. You deadpanned at how ridiculous he was being.

“The fourth level robot is something that will test your knowledge of restraint. It will tell us if you know when to run in a situation you cannot handle. I know running away sounds bad but there are situations that you may not fit into. That's why when you spot something that can't be stopped by you, you will need to learn how to help the situation another way.” he explained.

You nodded your head in understanding and looked around. Some people looked uneasy while others looked ready. You then focused back to the front of the room.

“Anything else you will like to ask?” Present Mic asked. That was the boy stood up and pointed behind him. “Can you please stop mumbling, you are distracting some of the people around you including myself,” he said.

The green-haired boy beside you froze. Like he didn't even know he was mumbling. The blue-haired boy sat down after that and the hero continued. For the rest of the time, he talked about how the school was glad to have so many people wanting to join the hero course. But soon he finished up and had you all leave the auditorium.

You were now in front of the gates of the first exam. Not everyone from the auditorium was with you though. You all were spread out into groups.

“On your marks! Get set! GO!” Present Mic yelled into the intercom. The gates opened and everyone started running forward. Once you entered you saw many of the robots that were talked about from the speech earlier.

You looked around for anything to help you fight and soon you spotted a building with loose chains hanging from the sides. You ran over to the building but before you could grab a chain you felt something grabs you. On instinct, you twisted your body and got out of its grasp.

You then quickly grab the chain from the building and run at the robot again. It went to punch you but you slid underneath it going behind it in the process. You wrapped the chain around the robot's neck and jumped off of it while wrapping it around a lamppost.

You ran away from it and it followed you. Once you were away enough, you turned back and saw that the robot's head was ripped off from the chain on the lamppost. Once you were sure it was safe, you went over and grabbed the chain.

You then ran and kept the chains by your side. As the time continued you took down many robots. You used your chains to take them down and found weaknesses in the robot's armor that helped power them down.

As you continued, in the corner of your eye, you saw one of the buildings collapse. You turned your head towards it and ran over. The way your mind didn't even have enough time to even process what you were doing helped as you drawer near.

Once you entered the collapsed building you searched around in case anyone got caught in the fall. As you searched you heard a sniffle come from the hall to your left. You ran over and found a girl with her leg trapped underneath the rubble.

You quickly remove it and drape her arm over your shoulder. The both of you walk out and over to the exit. A hero comes and takes her from you.

After that, you get back to taking down robots and seeing if anyone needs any help. As you walked down the alley you felt the earth rumble underneath your feet. You then climbed the ladder from the side of the building and make it to the roof.

You see a giant robot walking around and soon you grab onto the chain hardly as you wrap it on a sturdy post on the roof. You then run towards the robot and jump off the roof. As you sore through the air, the robot walks towards you. You land on top of its shoulder and wrap the chain around its neck.

You then pull a piece of the metal off of its neck and dig through the wires. You grabbed a handful and pull them out of the robot. It then stops moving and dies as it is still wrapped in the chain.

That's when you heard it. The alarm rang for the end of the exam and you used the rest of the chain to swing down and exit the area.

As you walked towards the auditorium you saw that the other exam was also finished. You walked in and sat down in the same spot as earlier. You then notice the ash-blonde sit down as well. He was grumbling on about something but you didn't put any thought into it.

You were handed a small booklet and pencil after a while. “Alright. Now for the written test.” Present Mic said. The large clock at the top of the stage started a timer and you started to take the test.

The test index made you think of a lot of things dealing with the situation of being a hero but you answered them using your thought to carefully plan what you wanted them to do. When you finished you decided to take a nap until everyone else was done.

After a couple of minutes, the buzzer went off and you sat up a bit drowsily. A woman comes and picks up your test and pencil. You look over at the stage and see Present Mic walking up.

“Alright guys! That’s it! You can go home and relax. You letters will be coming in about a week.” He says and then walks off the stage.

Everyone starts to file out but you stay until the crowd thins out a bit. Once you thought that there was less people around you stand up and walk out of the school.
