Chapter 1

If you would be given the chance to choose something in your life that you truly crave, you would choose the ability to dream every night.
Dreaming always gave you a sense of bliss; pure happiness. Even the nightmares that would make you immediately wake up and scream in terror, even they made you feel alive.
You loved dreams, even adored them. They were the only place you could peacefully rest and be happy without anyone destroying it.
Sometimes in your dreams, there would appear a tall and handsome man. His face was cloudly, you couldn’t see much except his beautiful and shiny blonde hair. Every time you’d see him, you’d run towards him and try to catch him, but you always ended up too late, as he was no longer there.
You were so determined to find this man of your dreams. You wanted to know who he is, and why are you so infatuated with him. You never touched or interacted with him, yet there was this strong ache in your heart that kept your heart beating desperately.
It all started with a simple dream and continued with dozens of nightmares where you couldn’t sleep. You feared you would meet this mysterious man and then cry afterward because you would never have the chance to at least salute him.
At that point, you would try to stay up late so you didn’t have to deal with your dreams anymore, but it was for no use. Your body would fail to keep up with your impossible plan and eventually make you fall asleep involuntarily.
While you were drawing rushed and random sketches, you noticed someone with the corner of your eyes. You decided to ignore the urge to turn your head, but you gave up because of your intense curiosity and looked anyway.
To your shock, the person that was standing right in front of you looked exactly like the man of your dreams. There was no doubt it looked like him, but you decided to rub your eyes anyway and slightly pinch your skin to wake up from the hallucination.
Surprisingly, nothing changed, everything was the same, he was still there looking at you, confused with one eyebrow raised.
As soon as he made eye contact with you, you impulsively bit your lower lip and gripped tightly onto your short skirt while whispering to yourself.
He narrowed his eyes in disgust, it was clear that you looked silly in his eyes. You stared at him innocently for a few moments, embarrassed at his reaction that gave evident signs of showing displeasure.
You quickly buried your face in your hands in shame. You gulped and tightened your hands into fists. Something inside you simply couldn’t bear the idea of looking so pathetic in front of him.
“I apologize for my unacceptable behavior.” You stated, putting your fist on your chest while lowering your head to show your disappointment in yourself.
“Freak.” He spat in your face and harshly pushed you away, causing you to fall on the floor with all of your notebooks.
You yelped at the sudden impact. He looked at you for one second before smirking and continuing his way to the next class.
You took a deep, profound breath and giggled at your own humiliation, blushing like crazy.
You were so starved for his attention that you didn’t even care anymore if getting a reaction out of him would be a negative or a positive one.
The moment he touched you, you felt something, something that you never felt before. It was as if he seduced you with his unbreakable charm and attitude.
You stood up and looked at the mess you’ve just made. You put on a weak smile and began rearranging all of your stuff that was spilled all over the ground.
While you were fixing your mess, you couldn’t keep your mind off him, you wanted to know more about him; what he does, what are his hobbies, if he is single or not. You wanted to know at least his name.
Who was this fascinating man that made your days twice as hard yet so wonderful?
