Rit's p.o.v.
My day was starting so good. Everything was so perfect. Today I am going to get married. My fiancé is a business man. He is the owner of two 5 star restaurants. In this whole six months, from the day of marriage fixing date, we only met twice.
I was wearing a purple saree, and matching earrings, and Bangles. I had put on a light make up. I was looking perfect. I went down, and saw my family members were already waiting for me there. I also saw Shekhar's (my fiancé) family members there. And, he was also there. He was wearing a white kurta with a white sleeveless overcoat. It was a traditional outfit. He had a trim beard, and his striking good features made him look even more handsome. I like his eyes, which are grey in colour.
The room was decorated very beautifully with flowers. It was a simple arrangement and we were not having social marriage, our just decided to have it done in a court marriage. In five minutes out family lawyer Mr. Rewat arrived. In almost fifteen minutes we all were sitted. Shekhar and I were sitting side by side.
Mr. Rewat said, "So ladies and gentlemen we all are gathered here to attend the marriage ceremony of Miss. Antaripa Sen and Mr. Shekhar Rane. So we proceed with marriage procedures..." Saying this took a court paper from a file. "Are you both ready?"
"Yes" we both said together. My brother and his sister arrived with both of our rings. "Mr. Rane, now youput on the ring on her finger, and Miss. Sen you will do the same. We exchange our rings, and we sign on our court paper. His mother gave him the sindur, then he put it on hasir lining. "You are married now." Then we had our lunch, which was amazing.
Then my cousins, and brother and Shekhar's cousins and siblings we all were together. We decided that we will conduct a singing competition between the boys and the girls.
"Ladies first" said Shikhar (Shekhar's brother). "As you wish". Then then competition started. My best friend Naina sang 'mere khabo mein jo aaye'. Then Shekhar's brother sang 'shayad' from 'love aaj kal 2'. This way the competition continued. Now, it was my turn to sing, I sang 'sixteen' from 'four more shorts please' . It was one of my favourite song. Shekhar sang the song 'kabhi jo badal barse' from jackpot. He had got such a amazing voice. I literally fell in love with his voice. When he stopped singing, Naina said to me "you are a lucky bitch. You'll get to hear his melodious voice everyday."
