I was waiting for the pain to fade away,I hated it I hated every single breathe I took ,it reminded me that I was still alive that I still had to fight every single day for my happiness .
As I wiped the tears that threatened to run down my cheek I thought about my mom I missed her so much and I longed for the day I would see her but that would only happen if I was dead. They say things happen for a reason and how God never gives you something you can't handle but honestly I felt like shit I felt as though none of that was true,I felt as though God had listened to my prayers but still decided to take part of my happiness away ,if he loved me so much then why did he make me suffer,why did he make me go through the pain.
He gave me hope at some point I actually thought she was going to live and when I finally started to smile knowing my mom was getting better he took her away from me ,without a single thought just like that she was gone forever.

"Amanda common it's not that serious" Ell said as she continued to pick her books from her locker .She wanted us to go to a party but I just wasn't feeling it .I wanted to relax do some meditation or even do yoga ,in short I didn't feel like being with people who were half drunk sweaty and shoving their Tongue down each others throats.
"Besides It's not like you're failing any class or like busy."she added
"Okay fine how about you come over then we can watch movies together or like do something I really don't wanna go to a party tonight"I said as we walked to our next class ,we were having history and I hated it with everything I had in me but like I did need an education so I had to actually learn it.
"Okay fine plus I wanna talk to you about something later so perfect timing" Ell responded as she placed her bag down next to her seat and I did the same to mine as I sat down beside her.
"Oh yeah and don't forget to invite the boys over"was the last thing ELL said before turning to face the front .Our history teacher Miss Linda had just walked in and was ready to start the class but I on the other hand was ready to take a nap.I completely ignored her irritating voice and placed my head down for a good nap.
"Miss Miller,I'm sorry was my teaching interfering with your nap?"
I slowly sat upright and rubbed my sleepy eyes. Yes I did sleep in her class but like who would blame me ,this Lady spoke so slow she would put anyone to sleep and besides I spent the whole night yesterday watching some sappy romance movies my body needed to rest.
"Yes Miss Linda now could you please quite down I'm having a headache" i sweetly smiled at her as I rubbed the back of my head everyone around us was in shook as they watched the whole thing unfold before their eyes and when I say Miss Linda was mad she was MAD . her whole face had just turned a deep shade of pink and I could see a vain on her forehead about to pop.Yup I was totally gonna get punished for this.
"Miss Miller you will have ditention after class today and make sure you are there ..got it?" Miss Linda said as she passed me my detention slip and walked back to the front of the class.I turned to Ell who was chuckling beside me clearly enjoying the whole situation.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"I asked as I folded the blue pice of paper and shoved it into my black denim shorts.
"Aww but you looked so cute ,wanna see the picture I took?"
I shook my head and murmured a no ,I knew the photo looked horrible so there was no need to look at it plus I knew she would send it to me anyway.

Once history was over Ell and I split Up after her making sure she reminded me to invite the boys over .Since I didn't want to disappoint her I decided to go look for the damn boys.
I slowly walked towards Andrews locker as I hummed a song in my head,I loved singing it made me connect with my inner self and made me feel as though my mom was right there with me.It was one thing my mother and I loved to do and sure as hell my mother could hit those notes .
Andrew was my best friend my ride or die .We did everything together we shared everything no matter how bitter sweet or how painful it was.I had known him since birth and ever since we shared a bag of chips together I knew he was the one right after he broke my leg while we were riding our bikes .
Once I saw a tall figure dressed in black jeans and a blue shirt that showed off his muscles,together with his rich black hair I knew exactly who that was I would never miss that hair ,yes I said hair Andrews hair was just so beautiful and silky plus he took care of it Like crazy buying all this fancy products for it and he didn't allow anyone to touch it not even me,but either way I still did touch it occasionally.
I slowly tip toed towards Andrew making sure to be as quite as possible so that he wouldn't turn around and ruin my whole plan and once I was close enough I jumped on his back causing him to stumble and for him to firmly hold on my hips so that I wouldn't fall off his back. This was payback for him not picking me up in the morning after him making me literally beg him to .I had to drive my car and I hated driving in the morning.
"Melanin common get your fat ass of my back"Drew said in between laughter, he always called me melanin for as long as I could remember .He always said how he loved my grey eyes and my dark chocolate skin and how I carried enough melanin for the both of us so I decided to call him Drew because...why not.
"Only if you and Mike come over to my place tonight for a sleepover with Ell and I"
Mike was a boy who had joined our friendship circle after him and Drew had a stupid fight over the fact that Mike would probably replace Drew as quarterback in the school's team .The fact that he was as good as Drew made him look like a threat.So after finally accepting that both of them got crazy talent and how it didn't matter who was quarterback as long as the team won Mike got really close to us.
"Yeah sure I will that is if I find him" Drew said as he slowly helped me get off his back .once my feet hit the ground I looked at Drew and said " you do know where he is be at my place by seven and bring me chocolate."Just as I was about to kiss his cheek and say goodbye I saw Mike walking up to us.
Mike had brown curly hair and of course his green eyes that the females always loved and wanted to wake up to every morning he did love there attention anyway.He was built like a god and he knew it I mean he is in the football team so you shouldn't expect less.
"If it isn't my two favorite people"Mike said as he walked towards us.He gave me a hug then did his handshake with Drew.
"Oh yeah it's good you came ,so melanin's place today at seven" Drew mumbled as he looked at his phone not paying attention to us anymore.
"Aah fuck I had a booty call today night"mike pouted at me .
"Wait hold up mister ..who is the lucky girl"Drew asked smiling clearly enjoying how the conversation had gone.
"Bella my guy"Mike smiled as he wiggled his bushy black eyebrows while he got an approval look from Drew as they once again did their hand shake.They always did this ,mess around with girls just for the fun I couldn't wait for the day they would actually see females and want to give them more than just a fuck.
"Honestly if you don't show up I will personally rip off your balls and feed them to you as you watch the titanic."I said as i moved towards Mike and decided to start a staring contest to see who would win.i was trying to intimidate him which I knew wouldn't work he was a 6.1 while I was a solid 5,4 ,who the fuck was I scaring anyway.
"Relax you hostile female I will come damn"
"Good I will see you boys tonight ..and don't bring your sluts."I stated as I kissed both boys on their cheek and walked out of the school to go home.
I needed to make sure I had enough snacks and beer since Ell decided I should invite two monsters who acted like they were never fed plus I needed to make sure my brother would have snacks just incase he was staying home tonight.
As I walked towards my car I remembered I had detention waiting for me but I was gonna make it my bitch I was already tired of school and sure as hell I wasn't gonna spend any extra minute in this place.I got into my black BMW and headed straight to my sweet home.
