September 3
Hi I'm Mackenzie and my wacky story starts in the pre school and follows my life. Today is the first day of pre k and I had a lot in store for me. My mom is named Leah my dad rich my sister Haley and of course my name is Mackenzie. Honestly I'm kind a nerd I love to read and write and tells stories but when I walked in to these kids they obviously had other plans. Nose picking coloring in the lines and reading books I despise like those I spying books. I knew I was in for a rough start.
September 4
Well I barely had friends and immediately these clicks were formed. The girls that play family boys building towers and girls coloring so I knew if I was finally going to fit in i was going to have to connect with one of these groups. Well I started with the family girls and they were happy to let me join. I asked to be the dad and one of the girls Kylie screams no that role is taken. What about grandpa and same thing. Well I got stuck with a baby of course.
September 5
Well i just began my torture filled with fake crying and endless times little 5 year olds speak to me like I'm dumb. Then the teacher screamed everyone we are going outside come on. Kylie the mom and Aiden the dad said ok kids come on. I talked in my awkward baby voice and Mrs Danielle the teacher gave me what I like to call the death stare. It's basically a way of saying you are being annoying. Then she rolled her eyes and left. Outside was cool with the slides but I had my so called parents down my throat.
September 6
Well a girl Olivia joined and became my aunt and she was annoying. She acted like a second mother and soon as you know it a fight broke out and true story she literally picked up a chair and tried to hit Kylie. Well that was the end of family and the end of me in my new group. Well with family banned and Olivia in serious trouble I joined the block boys and girls now that the family moved there. Olivia was angry but was over playing with blocks. I tried to connect but it didn't work.
September 7
Finally the end of the week and I went straight to the blocks where I found my heaven this little baby cheetah. My little baby brain exploded with happiness. I had decided to make a story about a baby cheetah trying to find his mom and grabbed a whole bunch of other toys. Olivia was playing with the blocks by here self so I asked if I could join her. She said yes and she even let my new story I was making with the toys in her town. It might have been the first time we connected.
September 8
It was Sunday and we were heading to grandma and grandpas house for the day. When we arrived we got the surprise of Ryan our cousin. He became our first real friend because he was our age. I was the oldest then Ryan then Haley. It was all fun in games but Ryan has adhd and is super sensitive so one think could hurt his feelings and send me and Haley down the drain.Grandma and Grandpa were the best place to go grandpa took us for walks in the wooded are by his house. Grandma made the most delicious desserts ever.
September 9
After school we spent another day at Grandma and Grandpas and we all decided to play a police game. Ryan is very into police army firefighters which I think are cool but I don't like that kind of violence. Well Haley clearly didn't either and Ryan didn't like that police army and fire fighting couldn't be incorporated in the game. Well it just caused a argument that left as all angry at each other. Groups are hard but 3 is a crowd someone is always going to be left out. Usually when I have a problem I go to my sweet kind pit bull Juno but she wasn't there.
September 10
Well I met Olivia again that Monday and I started doing the story in my head and Olivia was building towns. The only problem is Olivia was very annoying because of a block tower 3 little Jenga sized blocks high moved a sliver she would start a fit. I got so angry I smashed all her towers laughing and taking my toys to finish my story elsewhere. Well I was group-less again and on my way to my finally fit. The coloring kids.
September 11
Mom was talking about how she can't believe it's the 10th anniversary to 9/11. I asked her what she was talking about and she said these disgusting people crashed planes into a building because they would want to take there own lives crashing a plane to kill Americans. I was dumbstruck and then just left. Well I was back to my coloring group and these girls were crazy they said each color has to be what it actually would look like. The ocean must be blue not green. They also got mad about a sliver of color outside of the lines.
September 12
Well I didn't really know how to color in the lines I kinda just scribble scrambled until it made sense in my mind. Then when these girls picked up there Picasso of pre-k I knew there was something wrong.Well Kylie showed me how to color in the lines slowly and make it look nice and soon as I knew it I was a little artist. While I was coloring I noticed that a new teacher showed up. She had a hermit crab I never learned her name but she was my favorite.
September 13
Mrs Danielle was at school but I guess decided she didn't want to teach because the hermit crab teacher taught us. She had a big green cylinder net with a little caterpillar crawling on some sticks. She said soon they will turn to butterflies and we can let them go. Everyone was so exited and people couldn't wait to see the butterflies tomorrow. Well hermit crab teacher broke the new saying that they were going to take way longer then a day. Everyone was disappointed but was happy our little friend could stay longer. Honestly i was too.
September 14
Well we had run out of coloring books and the ones left had so many ruined pages so the coloring group disbanded. I looked all over the house today but it didn't matter because when we went outside everyone decided to play tag. I ran and had to look for a hiding spot even though there wasn't a lot of places to hide I had to do something. I jumped under a slide and tried to stay out of sight best I could. I wasn't a fast runner but I was a lot smarter. Well a bunch of kids ran over and hogged my spot I left and then got tagged.
September 15
My mom took us to her friend Rebecca's house and we went with there 16 year olds. It was kinda awkward but when they brought out play dough that was our weakness. Jamie rebeccas daughter said to make a monster and I said wouldn't the play dough mix and she said not to worry she will get it out. (Spoiler alert) she never did but at least there was some kind of hope. Haley went with add Jamie and I went with Jared I guess mom wanted us to bond with people. We started playing batman and it actually wasn't awful.
September 16
After school we went back to Rebeccas house and this time they had phonics cards. If you don't know what phonics it's cards to help you learn almost like learning English. I was a natural because I read a lot so my vocabulary was very had at that age. Well after our little school adventure we got home and Haley did a Mrs. Danielle. Mom screamed where did you learn to roll your eyes. Haley of course said Mrs Danielle and mom wasn't very happy to hear a pre-K teacher is rolling her eyes.
September 17
The teachers handed out a book. It said all about me and it was about 10 pages. Each page asked us a question about us and we had to draw something. Mrs. Danielle said we will do 1 a day and she called us up separately one by one. It was by last name so I was one of the last. When she called me I was nervous and she said ok draw a pet if you don't have one draw a pet you wish you had. I drew Juno and Chloe my dog and cat.
September 18
Well I waited all day for my name to be called and when it was my mysterious question of the day was draw my family. I started with mom all the way on the right. She had long black hair and brown eyes. Then dad short brown and same for me. Dad was on the left and I was on the left also. Haley was all the way on the right with her beautiful long brown hair.Mrs.Danielle said good and she let me go calling the next person.I hope my book turns out good because I suck at drawing
September 19
After school my mom took Haley and I to the mall she wanted me to pick a present for Leanne Ryan's sister and Haley. Leanne is 9 years older then me so it makes it very hard to pick something for a teenager.Haley's a artist so I chose a pack of colored pencils and a sketchbook but Leanne I chose a phone case. I hope she likes it because I would feel really embarrassed.After we were done shopping mom took us to this little play place is the mall and Haley and I played some pirate game.
September 20
That Saturday we went to Ryan's house to celebrate Leanne's birthday because the 23rd is a school day. Ryan's a only child so he struggles with sharing. He has a lot of nerf guns but bullets are not allowed when company's over. Ryan pretty much hogged all the guns and I know it's his but come on dude. There was a women named Camille and she owned the top floor of Ryan's house. She was always at events but I didn't mind because she was nice. After a while I didn't want to play with Ryan because he was hogging everything and all it did was cause fighting.
September 21
We went to Grandma and Grandpas house after everyone argued over nerf guns but when we walked in Ryan was there. Haley and I weren't very happy with the way he was acting hogging the nerf guns so we tried to ignore him. Well after a while Haley and I tried to be friendly and talk about yesterday but it backfired and he ended up blaming us. A huge argument broke out and Ryan started crying. We were just happy to have the week off from him.
September 22
Today was Sunday and I was preparing for Monday because on Monday we were going to do another page in the book and the question was what is your favorite color. I would put down black because it was cool to me at the time. Then Olivia probably would complain saying that's a shade not a color. I would roll my eyes and Mrs. Danielle would yell at me wondering where I got that from. In my mind i would be screaming you taught me something you don't want me to do. It would be kinda a lonely rest of the day and right after school we are going to Rebeccas house. Great Jamie has the phonics cards.
September 23
Everything happened as I predicted and with Leanne's birthday even though we celebrated already they went out to dinner. When mom was on her phone I saw and I kinda felt left out. When I got to school we had to draw our Aunts and Uncles everyone outside of our immediate family of course after doing our favorite color. Lucky I was a good kid so I didn't take my anger on Ryan put on some stupid book. The caterpillar was looking really slow that day and was eating a lot. Something was wrong after school we went back to Rebecas house. We weren't allowed in the basements he because I was a nosy child I went down there anyway to find 2 creepy people named beaver and buttface in pictures bobble heads and carpets.
September 24
I barely got any sleep last night because I had a nightmare of beaver and buttface kidnapping me. The next page of our book was hobbies so I put down reading and coloring. Mrs. Danielle was satisfied and I left but when we returned to Rebecas house I was frightened of the basement. To this day no one knew what I saw thank god because if they knew I snuck down in that stupid basement I was screwed.
September 25
It was Wednesday and it was Haley's birthday I played the usual happy birthday song and at school the page on our book was when was your birthday I put it down and was finished for the day. We went out to dinner for Haley's birthday and I felt like I was rubbing it in to Ryan's face.
September 26
I was doing my 2nd to last page in my book when I noticed something different the caterpillar was in a had a little cylinder leaf looking thing around it. Everyone was standing in front and it was impossible to see but it was still cool. The next question was our favorite song and movie and I said I didn't have one. Mrs.Danielle didn't like that response so I had to put the incredibles and the happy birthday song. Somehow a book about me become just straight up lies.
September 27
The last page was to decorate the back cover so I colored in thanks for reading a book about me. Mrs.Danielle accepted it and I left. That's when people were surrounding the caterpillar. I pushed my way through and noticed that the leaf like thing wrapped around it had fallen and was turning brown. Kids were crying saying he was dead. That's when blaming started and people wanted to solve the mystery of how it fell. Interviews more like interrogations started and I was blamed for being near it. I never knocked it down so I had to fight to not be blamed
September 28
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and I went with Grandpa to the park while Haley baked desserts with Grandma. Grandpa was in the Vietnam war and he went through a lot of things. I was to young to understand but I know he had no choice. I never knew many stories of what happened but I learned one years later about having a dog to sniff out bombs. He was his best friend almost it gave him hope. Well
they were under attack and the tank was about to explode. The dog never made it out.
September 29
Death is a hard topic I learned very young to be strong the formula survival of the fittest. Juno the dog and Chloe the cat are my pets. I love them especially Juno. Juno was a strong dog she got Cancer and beat it. She was the sweetest pit bull and it was hard to remember her because of how long ago it was. Chloe was very independent and I always felt I never treated them right because I was a baby and I hogged there beds and chased them. It hurts me to think that.
September 30
The final day of September hit with a bang. Kids were fighting over who to blame. The teachers said we are leaving the caterpillar in until we know it's dead. We watched as the dying looking leaf from Friday turned to Monday's rotten yellow goop dripping from the leaf like thing. Believe it or not this was a big deal in pre-K. Me Olivia and Kylie became the first suspects and we were each interrogated. I watched as they took Kylie into the play kitchen as Olivia and I sat watching. Tommorow was our turn.
