Summary

From the outside, Aurelia's life doesn't seem anything other than normal. She is clever, inventive, and quite frankly, a genius. She's got the highest marks in the whole school. She's never gotten anything less than an A+. And like the stories always go, that classifies her as a nerd. People don't get physical with her because they like to sit on the side and watch. They start rumours about a girl they think they know but in reality, They don't. When her mother was in college she worked part-time as an intern in a lab. She would note down the experiments and clean the test tubes when they were done. Doing this there were bound to be accidents. She accidentally spilled a chemical on her lab coat and it altered her DNA. at the time she didn't know she was pregnant so it was quite a surprise to her when her baby was born with the ability to change faces. Her baby could voluntarily change what she looked like any time she wanted. Sometimes it comes in handy. Other times it can be quite dangerous. When the new kid, August Silas, starts failing all his classes, Aurelia is asked to tutor him on her own time, life get's more interesting than it already seemed to be when he's around. Will she put up another mask or finally be herself.
