Summary

There's a library that closed down a long time ago, so long that no one remembers it was magical. A young girl visits the library and borrows books for years before one night she meets the Guardian of the Library and makes a deal that will change her life forever. When Elisa Turnith bargains a year of her life away to a strange man in the Library, she doesn't expect to have him call in the deal. But that's exactly what happens, and apparently he needs her help. Of course if he was a little less smug and a little more honest maybe she'd enjoy it more.

PROLOGUE

'Once upon a time, in a land far, far away' a young girl read to an empty library, her innocent voice echoing through the large chamber 'A beautiful princess lived in a castle waiting to be saved. She had been cursed to eternal sleep, only to be awakened by a handsome prince- her true love.....'

The reader, an eight year old girl by the name of Elisa, was quite fond of fairy tales and romance and adventure. All of which could be found in the Guardians Library. Of course little Elisa had no idea she would experience them first hand.
