Interesting

"I love pieces that explore human nature and this seems, at the outset, to be such a piece. I'm not sure it is, but the writing is good. Great attention to detail and some good descriptions. The only downsides are that I'm not sure what we're supposed to be learning (what is 'worth it'? The pain to get to the sea; the pain of living to have lived; life due to the past? What?), which leaves me wondering why I read the piece to the end, and then some redundancy and misspellings. Other than that, it's a fun, explorational work. I could see this expanded into a longer short story where we get to glimpse back at the man's life and what made everything 'worth it'."
